Destination Overview Nyerere National Park – formally known as Selous Game Reserve A newly established Park is part of what is known as Selous Game Reserve. Founded in 2019 and covering over 30,000 square kilometres, now the largest National Park in Africa. This is combination of three National Park Safari. Mikumi is Tanzania’s fifth-largest national park, with almost guaranteed wildlife sightings. Udzungwa Mountain National Park is one of Tanzania’s most outstanding, pristine, paradise and unique exciting wilderness mountains forested with greatest altitudinal range of forest. Ruaha NP is the largest National Park in Tanzania covering an area of 20226 square kilometers. Ruaha National Park is famous for its herds of elephant and buffaloes. The Ruaha River, which plays an important role in the ecosystem of the park, provides sanctuary to a large number of hippos and crocodiles.

Bagamoyo, is a coastal town founded at the end of the 18th century, though it is an extension of a much older (8th century) Swahili settlement, Kaole. It was chosen as the capital of German East Africa by the German colonial administration and it became one of the most important trading ports for the Germans along the East African coast along the west of the Indian Ocean in the late 19th and early 20th century

Our adventure begins early in the morning, with your driver picking you up from your hotel or the airport if you’re arriving on a late-night flight. You’ll be taken to the SGR Train Station for your journey to the Morogoro region, a scenic ride lasting about 1 hour. Upon arrival, our driver-guide will meet you and drive you to Mikumi National Park, a 1.5-hour trip. Enjoy a late morning game drive followed by an evening game drive. Afterward, your driver will take you back to the train station for your return journey to Dar es Salaam. Upon arrival, you’ll be picked up and transferred to your hotel, or to the airport if you have a flight. Formerly name of Selous GR, was named after Englishman Sir Frederick Selous, a famous big game hunter and early conservationist, who died at Behobeho in his territory in 1917 while fighting against the Germans during First World War.  The Selous Game Reserve was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1982 due to the diversity of its wildlife and undisturbed nature. In 2019 President of Tanzania decided to change it to National Park and become a largest National Park in Tanzania. Mikumi NP was established in1964 covering an area of 1070 square kilometers; it was later extended in 1975 to cover the current area of 3,230 square kilometers. Mikumi National Park is located to the North of the famous Selous Game Reserve. The park is the fifth largest National Park in Tanzania and the most accessible from Dar es Salaam throughout the year
