This is a half day tour where you will experience the locals doing about their day to day. Guests are picked up from their hotel in a luxury of a 4WD/Minibus. The first stop is at the fruits and vegetable Market. You are welcome to taste some of the local fruits that are in season. Tour will then continue to the Rural Farming School where Guests will have a tour around the school and passing through fields of sugarcane and vegetable farming where you might see a bowed oxen ploughing the fields in the same way they have been doing for over hundred years. This small group on and off-road 3 - 4 hour experience includes a quick ride up Nadi’s back road, past the biggest Hindu Temple in the South Pacific and then it’s time for the off-roading adventure to begin in the Nakala Mountains. Splash through mud puddles (a seasonal offering), zip by cane fields and ride higher up the pine forest mountainside before stopping on a mountain plateau overlooking the Mamanuca's. Here you'll enjoy light snacks whilst admiring stunning views. Next drive another 11km inwards to reach a local village. Here you'll enjoy light snacks whilst admiring stunning views. Winding tracks take you back to the main road through Nadi town. Enjoy a short stop at our local beach before heading back to base.
