One of the top highlights at Martvili canyon is the boat ride in the turquoise river, where you'll enjoy close views of the canyon & maybe spot fishes in clear river water. Note: in case of rain/snow Okatse Canyon is closed for visitors, and in such case itinerary would be modified and you would visit Nokalakevi Hot Sulfur Springs instead (no entrance fee). Note: Martvili boat service doesn't work, if the water level is too high or the currents too strong, usually it could happen in spring or after heavy rain.

You will spot Soviet monuments and mosaics scattered around Chiatura, and also see typical soviet residential buildings. After a walk in Chiatura, continue to the Mghvimevi convent, which is carved in rock. In the evening return to Kutaisi.

There are located 2 bridges, 3 view platforms, 30 steps historical staircase built by the big limestone boulder.
