Great breakfast and brunch place. We sat upstairs on the high counter without any reservations on a Saturday morning. We had two portions of the pancakes with spicy chicken and avo on toast. Both very good and filling. Coffees were ok. Hopefully they can improve the coffee quality. Otherwise both food and service were exceptional and the staff is very friendly too. Excellent food, well worth the visit! The menu is quite extensive with loads of tasty options. We had the pancakes, and one of the breakfast sandwiches (made gluten free) and they were excellent. I would highly recommend this spot! It is quite small and we were lucky to get one of the last walk in spots. If you are not looking to wait or have a party more than 2 you should definitely book in advance. Loved Box Sociaal! The food was super delicious, the vibes were chill, and the place felt so cozy. Definitely recommend it ❤️ But make sure to book in advance it gets quite busy!

Absolutely lovely Cafe. A great pot of tea! Very tasty eggs Benedict and burger. And they even had a gluten-free dessert. I am so pleased. The staff was excellent, friendly and helpful. Come here! You will not be disappointed!

Box Social Coffee in Amsterdam is one of the rare spots that gets everything right. The coffee is exceptional—balanced, rich, and made with real care. The space feels warm without trying too hard. What truly stood out was the service. Our server, Jenna , was kind, thoughtful, and genuinely welcoming. They made the visit feel personal. Places like this remind you why hospitality matters. Will definitely come back.
