We booked the restaurant 5 days before our trip to Amsterdam. Our table was at the back of the restaurant, with no view, right by the wall. But since we came to enjoy good food, we didn’t get upset. There were four of us. We ordered the seafood platter for €144 (two shellfish). It was tasty, but the portion was quite small than we expected for that price. Next time, we would rather order one of those to share and then each have a separate fish dish. The service was great — our waitress, Tallula, was very friendly and kind. We liked the restaurant a lot. It’s located right in the center of Amsterdam, with an amazing location. We’ll definitely visit again. It would be wonderful if there were an option to choose the exact table when making a reservation — that would be amazing, as you’d know what to expect. The seafood was fresh. We also tried the soup of the day and the salmon tartare — both were delicious. It is located in the tourist center, easy to access. The deco reflects its clean, bright and cosy. The seafood is fresh. We ordered the combination of seafood, crab cake and Caesar salad. Good service and reasonable price. Food is delicious! staff in general was very considerate, welcoming and helpful. I was served by Aby, she was a star. Offered a nice seating and special items for shell fish before I could ask. Our waitress Sofie was the best. She took care of us and made sure we received everything we ordered in a timely manner. Her attitude was always so friendly. We really enjoyed having dinner here, the atmosphere is super cool. If you are in city center and you enjoy seafood, you should visit The Seafood Bar.

This seafood restaurant in Amsterdam has four branches across the city. It’s usually very busy, and reservations are recommended. The food is fresh, tasty, and cooked right in front of the tables, which makes the experience more enjoyable. Overall, the dishes are excellent, and I definitely recommend trying them. However, the cleanliness of the tables could be improved, and I noticed that some chefs don’t always use gloves when handling ingredients before cooking, which might concern some guests. In general, it was a good experience.
