An Italian Gem in the Heart of Amsterdam! Verona Italian Restaurant is hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Amsterdam. From the moment you step into this charming spot tucked away on a peaceful foot-traffic-only side alley, you’re welcomed with warm hospitality and a relaxing, authentic Italian atmosphere. The food quality is exceptional, very dish is bursting with fresh ingredients and traditional flavors that make you feel like you’re dining in Italy itself. The portion sizes are generous and incredibly satisfying, leaving you full and happy without feeling overstuffed. One of the things that stands out most is the wide variety on the menu whether you’re in the mood for fresh pasta, a crisp pizza straight from the oven, or something lighter like antipasti or salads, there’s something for everyone. Even better, the prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality and portion sizes. The restaurant offers plenty of seating indoors and outdoors, making it a great choice whether you're dining with friends, family, or solo. The outdoor terrace is particularly lovely on a nice day, set in a calm and charming alley that feels like a hidden escape from the busy city streets. All in all, Verona is a true gem. Delicious food, warm atmosphere, great service, and fantastic value. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a genuine Italian experience in Amsterdam!

My mom and I had a lovely early dinner here. She had the eggplant lasagna and I had the spaghetti bolognese. We also shared some focaccia and a tiramisu. Everything was absolutely delicious and the service was wonderful too. Attentive staff but not overbearing. Highly recommend 👌🏽👌🏽

We had a wonderful time here! Everything we ate was delicious and the staff was easily the friendliest and most hospitable we encountered in all of Amsterdam. Jösef was incredibly kind and ensured we had the best experience. We got the caprese starter, Quattro fromaggi, and the Cannelloni carne. We loved all the food. We also got a limoncello spritz and a Lambrusco to drink and limoncello shots at the end of the meal. Absolutely would go back and plan to during our next visit!

The staff here is so incredibly nice and the owner himself makes sure to chat with each table. I just wish I liked the food more. The crust was not super fluffy/didn’t give the pizza oven texture I was hoping for.
