Beautiful garden setting – make sure to reserve! This restaurant has a stunning garden atmosphere, but be sure to make a reservation if you’d like to sit there — it fills up fast. We were seated in the back area, which was comfortable, but the garden is definitely the highlight. The food was absolutely delicious. We had the Kavourma with hummus, roasted eggplant with feta, and chicken risotto — all beautifully prepared and full of flavor. The highlight, though, was the cheesecake with lime and almond crumble. It was the smoothest, most delicious cheesecake I’ve had in Greece. Highly recommend! If you're visiting Athens, you have to come and eat at Ama Lachei at the start or end of the trip, depending on whether you wish to begin or finish your trip to the city with the best meal of your year. The restaurant presents you with well curated mezzes that will leave you full to the brim and trying to figure out how to fit another bite. 10/10 no more notes We had a truly beautiful dining experience here. We were seated in the back area, which was comfortable, but the garden is definitely the highlight. The food was absolutely delicious. We had the Kavourma with hummus, roasted eggplant with feta, and chicken risotto — all beautifully prepared and full of flavor. The highlight, though, was the cheesecake with lime and almond crumble. It was the smoothest, most delicious cheesecake I’ve had in Greece. Highly recommend!

The food was good. The shrimp orzo was my favorite. The vibes were amazing! Super lively, perfect for all kind of groups. Both indoor and outdoor seatings were nice. The service was also friendly. If I lived in Athens, I’d come here very often.

The food is just amazing and full of surprises. It’s not the ordinary type you can get anywhere in Greece, it comes with some unexpected taste and unexpectedly amazing! We ordered the grilled sardines, the veggie sauce for the fish is amazing, sweet and sour with tons of freshness, perfect combination with the sardines! We did not get the tables in the lovely courtyard, but sitting indoor is equally nice in hot summer.
