Great Greek food with a modern twist. Some surprises in the menu such as the tzatziki avocado or the pastitsio. All accompanied by a good and quiet atmosphere and an excellent service. I definitely will come back in the next visit to Athens.

Thes "Greek Creative Cuisine" just got featured in the Trip Advisor 2024 Travellers’ Choice Awards, so we had to check it out when we were in Athens. We had dinner there and really liked most of the dishes, though some were hit or miss. The Greek salad was super tasty, but the seafood pasta didn’t impress us—just lacked flavor. The menu has a modern Greek vibe with some creative twists. The staff were really nice. They took time to explain each dish and made sure to check on us throughout the meal. They were also great at suggesting the perfect wine to go with our food. But I should mention, there was an hour wait. Make sure to get a reservation if you’re going. The place is clean and has a chill vibe, with some outdoor seating available. Overall, it was a lovely experience!

The most perfect date night we had here when visiting Athens. We were SO looked after by the staff I can’t comment how friendly, accommodating and lovely they were. The food was absolutely incredible. We ate loads and just wanted more! Can highly recommend to come here and book a table is a must!

Amazing food! Very very tasty! Very good and welcoming service ♥️ We had feta doughnuts, sea bass carpaccio, moussaka & Greek salad. All dishes were excellent !

A quick search led me to Thes “Greek Creative Cuisine” in the vibrant Psyrri neighborhood, sporting an impressive 4.9 rating. This place quickly became my new favorite restaurant in Athens. Psyrri is a lively hotspot, brimming with restaurants, twinkling lights, and a festive vibe that’s perfect for soaking in the city’s energy. When we arrived at Thes, they were fully booked—a reminder to always make a reservation in advance! Luckily, a no-show reservation opened up, and after a brief five-minute wait, we were seated. Pro tip: request an outdoor table when booking to fully enjoy the sights and sounds of Psyri’s bustling streets. The food was nothing short of spectacular. While traditional Greek dishes are on the menu, their “creative cuisine” approach adds clever twists that elevate every bite to something extraordinary. Each dish was a perfect blend of familiar and innovative, making the meal unforgettable. I’m already excited to return and try more of their creative offerings. The staff was warm and attentive, and the manager’s hospitality made us feel truly welcome. I’m baffled as to why Thes hasn’t clinched a perfect 5.0 rating. For an exceptional dining experience in Athens, book a table at Thes (don’t forget to reserve!) and request outdoor seating to savor both the incredible food and Psyrri’s vibrant atmosphere.
