Highly recommend the food here. The seabass dish was beautiful, plating and flavor. The skin was nice and crispy but tender flesh and everything else on the plate went so well with it. The crème brûlée was very good too, nice crispy sugar top. There was no wait for a table and helpful staff.

As someone who travels by eating, Yphes completely won me over. This is not just a restaurant, it’s a full sensory experience. Every dish was a masterclass in modern Greek cuisine: delicate flavors, beautifully balanced, and presented with the kind of care that shows deep respect for both tradition and innovation. The service was among the best I’ve ever had, warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate. The team doesn’t just serve food; they curate moments. You leave feeling not only satisfied, but inspired. If you’re a foodie visiting Athens, Yphes is an absolute must.

What a hidden gem! This place is tucked away from the main streets — quiet, calm, and genuinely non-touristic, which makes it feel special right away. The menu is amazing, full of thoughtful flavors and beautifully presented dishes. We absolutely fell in love with the sourdough bread with homemade butter — soft, aromatic, with a hint of orange. OMG, 100/10! Easily one of the best breads we’ve ever had. The Yphes salad, beef tartar, and pork belly were all perfection — balanced, flavorful, and cooked with real care. The potato croquettes were our least favorite (6/10), but still decent compared to everything else being outstanding. Tiramisù — unbelievably light, creamy, and the perfect finish to an already perfect meal. Thank you, Myrsini, for your kindness and hospitality. Overall, this restaurant deserves way more attention. It’s calm, elegant, and feels like a secret spot locals would love to keep to themselves - highly recommended.

Literally the best restaurant I had in Athen! Every dish I ordered was super fantastic! Even the bread, the butter with lemon sauce and miso sauce was amazing! The only shortage is that the waiting time is long. But it’s totally worthwhile!

Gorgeous presentation and so delicious. Had dinner here after walking Ermou. Thankful we were fit in without a reservation. On a quiet street beside a little park so it was not only amazing food and service but quiet enough to chat and relax. Highly recommend the ceviche and short ribs. Oh and their “Another Aperol” was absolutely tasty and not just another.
