This a very comprehensive tour of the Bay of Islands area and we pack a lot into the 3+ hours. Visit the Waitangi area, Paihia, the Haruru Falls, Opua, and travel by vehicle ferry to the other side of the bay where we visit historic Russell, Long Beach, and enjoy fabulous views from the top of Flagstaff Hill. You will get a real feel for the Bay of Islands area. It's geography, history and our way of life. Benefit from an expert guide and a small group size. Ocean Adventure is the fastest boat to the Hole in the Rock, combining exhilaration and exploration with a balance of speed and thrills, as well as stops to view wildlife, learn about the Bay of Islands & take photos. Great for families & adventure seekers to feel the thrill of speeding across the water & viewing the stunning islands of the Bay Relax in state of the art suspension seating for a safe & comfortable ride as you fast track your journey through the iconic scenery of the Bay of Islands. Not suitable for guests over 120kg in weight due to the hydraulic seating. Jump on board for a 1.5 hour cruise, visiting the Cape Brett Peninsula & travel through the iconic Hole in the Rock on Motukōkako, conditions permitting. Enter the amazing Cathedral Cove if conditions permit & hear entertaining commentary about the Bay of Islands with stops for photos. Option to stop at Otehei Bay, Urupukapuka Island (must be pre-booked) and return on a later ferry at no extra cost.

Mullarkey tours – Cape Reinga Full day trip – offers a comfortable small group tour – maximum 11 passengers, with knowledgeable, humorous tour leaders. We stop at Taipa where you can purchase lunch (not included in the ticket price). We stop at the southern end of 90 Mile Beach which gives you the opportunity to walk the beach. On to the famous Cape Reinga, where the two oceans collide! Walk the path to the lighthouse on the edge of NZ Cape Reinga offers the ultimate northern New Zealand experience. This uniquely spiritual place … here according to Maori history is where spirits begin their final journey to their ancestral land Hawaiki. We head south to the immense sand dunes of Te Paki Stream – climb to the top, the views are spellbinding, and if you are brave enough grab a sandboard and surf the dunes (not included in price). For the afternoon we work our way back to Paihia via Mangonui, where you can walk the promenade and grab a beer in the historic Mangonui Tavern.
