An absolute delight! Came here to try traditional Peking Duck and liked it so much that we returned two days later. It’s not simply a meal, it’s an experience. Highly recommend it for everyone visiting Beijing. Tried several appetizers: duck liver pate, smoked duck platter, mixed sprout salad and the traditional Beijing appetizer platter. Then the duck itself….just heaven. Next time we are in Beijing will definitely return. Advise: came on a Saturday lunch and waited around 1,5 hour for a table. On Monday we were seated right away. On a busy day come and get a ticket then go explore around instead of sitting outside. Very nice and succulent Peking duck, carved by the chef right in front of our table. We had dough drop Beijing style soup as well which was very delicious. Cozy ambiance. I recommend going before or after peak hours to avoid long queues. We went at 9 PM and, despite expecting a 2-hour wait based on reviews, we got a table in just 15 minutes—which was great! There's a waiting area with free snacks. The staff don't speak English, so you’ll need to use a translation app. Make sure to order your Peking duck as soon as you receive your queue number to shorten the wait once you're seated. One of the rare restaurants that got both amazing food and spectacular view. I think it’s prolly the best duck I’ve ever had - duck skin dipped in sugar… if this is not heaven then what it… also not expensive considering it’s Beijing If you want seats with the Forbidden palace view either find an errand boy on rednote or go queue before nine (they take order from 1030), or maybe in the afternoon when there aren’t many ppl and you’re just lucky

Definitely one of the best ducks in Beijing! We stumbled upon Siji Minfu during our explorations around Beijing, and it turned out to be a wonderful surprise. The staff was friendly, polite, and professional. We ordered a whole duck (just the two of us), and the chef carved it right at our table. Simply delicious! We paid around €20 per person — comparable to other duck restaurants, but the quality here was definitely superior. Tip: We arrived at the restaurant around 11:45 am and didn’t have to wait at all. Just 45 minutes later, it was packed, with a long queue stretching to the entrance. It’s definitely worth getting there early!

Super crowded, long waiting time. Went at 230pm and had 90+ tables ahead of me. BUT, the duck is worth the wait. Price is quite reasonable. Taste is wonderful. Mediocre for the truffle mushroom. Overheard they have set meals available on the Meituan app.
