Honestly, it's one of the best restaurants in Belize! I have dined here 4 times already since I've been here almost every day. Variety of dishes to try from. Fresh juices and very friendly staff. Definitely try the pork dishes, the flavors are out of this world, with perfect seasoning and portions. Aside from the food and service, the views and the atmosphere are second to none, especially when you want to relax by the beach and enjoy your meal!

Lovely local spot! Food is spectacular, service is wonderful, music/vibe is cozy, beer is cold. Go for sunset if possible, the views are insane. Saturday is BBQ day, we got lucky with our chosen day! Nice walk over here from the city core and a short 5 minute taxi ride back. Ask your server to call a taxi for you, you can sip a brew whike vibing while you wait. Taxi man checks in with the hosts who will retrieve you. Its a nice system and aligns with the slow happy island vibe here.

We visited Bird’s Isle on the recommendation of the manager of our hotel. It was a mixed bag experience…. The food was delicious, we had the shrimp ceviche, lobster tail and grilled red snapper. The entrees were served with side of red beans and rice, side salad, scrambled eggs and French fries. The ceviche was on point. It took a bit of time to arrive, but was super fresh, obviously made to order! Perhaps a bit light on the shrimp, but great flavor. The chips were what we usually get in the area, which to us always seem a bit stale. The entrees of lobster and red snapper were both very good. Decent sized lobster and red snapper for the area. All sides were good, the fries were served piping hot (perfect) and no hint of a fryer used for different foods (the fried fish must have its own fryer! The ranch dressing and tartar sauce seemed homemade, and were both good. The drink menu is CRAZY, in a good way. One-half of the entire menu! Something for everyone included. Beer, wine, frozen drink, speciality cocktails, etc. We tried the Bahama Mama and the Yellow Bird. Served in huge glasses, potent, and sweet… very sweet, lots of fruit juices used. The bad stuff… service was slow. And the place was pretty empty. A lot of the physical premises is in need of repair. We ordered a can of sparkling water, and the top of the can was filthy. That’s a Belizean thing, like when they serve beers wrapped with napkins wrapped around the top, it’s to clean the top before drinking. The top of the bottle of hot sauce on the table was disgusting, obviously not cleaned in some time. Excess hot sauce and crust all over the top and lid. Finally, expensive for what you get. An OK experience, but we probably won’t go back, lots of other restaurants in the area.
