My wife and I were staying at the St. Regis but came here for dinner one night. We split the tomahawk, truffle mashed potatoes and broccolini - all were fantastic. We also got the lava cake for dessert, worth the 15 minute wait! Mmmmm. YUM. Arii Moana has a warm steakhouse vibe- laid back and elegant. The tomahawk steak was incredible, and so was the rack of lamb. The Moorea shrimp is SO good- I’m not usually a fan of shrimp, and I ordered it three times in a week. The meat has a lovely snap to it, and isn’t too sweet. Amoungst the worst I've had. It was a bust for me. One of the servers made I feel very uncomfortable. Food was weak, cooked poorly, flavor. The drink was undrinkable.

Amoungst the worst I've had. It was a bust for me. One of the servers made I feel very uncomfortable. Food was weak, cooked poorly, flavor. The drink was undrinkable.

This is probably a good restaurant most of the time, but I think we had an unlucky night. The night started off poorly when the staff seated a family with two toddlers next to us who were taking turns crying and running around the chairs. I don't mind kids, but it turned what was supposed to be a quiet romantic dinner into dinner at Disney's Polynesian. They say the food is Mediterranean-style and designed to be shared, but in my experience that just means the entrees are _slightly_ larger than usual (like 115%) and gives them an excuse to call grilled asparagus an entree. I enjoyed my main (Pappardelle), but my partner threw up her meal on the way home. The chocolate lava cake is top-ten material, very nicely done. I'd consider coming here just for the desert next time.

We ordered the roasted chicken for two. It was undercooked, tough and tasteless. Our waiter was never refilled for our entire dinner. Had to call waiter over to complain about chicken. I’ve had better roast chicken from Costco. $56 is outrageous for bad chicken. Order something else.
