Roule Galette is a dining gem on Bora Bora, which we found with the roulottes near the wharf in Vaitape. Featuring crepes, waffles and galettes, Roule Galette is a must find for both savory and sweet options. We tried the campagnarde substituting creme fresh for the tomato sauce, and a second with bacon, cheese and egg. The buckwheat galette was lacey yet crisp and the fillings delicious. As good (or better) as we remember the galettes at Brietz Cafe in Paris a few years ago. They also have a couple cider options as the perfect accompaniment to the savory galettes. Our sweet crepes were the Krunch ( Nutella with Rice Crispies) and a second with salted caramel and whipped cream. All were superb and we seriously contemplated another round. At around 4500 xpf for 2 galettes, 2 crepes and a 750ml cider, you can't beat the value (or taste) on Bora Bora.
