This place was fabulous! The food was amazing! I’m allergic to seafood, so they made something simplified for me, and it was still *amazing*! The service was excellent, especially our primary server Deniss. And the set up is lovely. My husband was walking around writing down new plants to grow, and my best friend and I watched the sunset from the porch. And the drinks couldn’t be better. Both taste and presentation! We will definitely be back.

We had an amazing experience at Fred’s Cancun. The service was outstanding — friendly, attentive, and professional from start to finish. The food was excellent! We ordered the oysters Rockefeller, ceviche tatemado, fish and chips, paella de mariscos, and pulpo asado — everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully served. The drinks were just as great, especially the tamarindo margarita — a must-try! Portions are generous, and prices are very reasonable for the quality and experience. One of the best parts is how family-friendly the restaurant is. They have a wonderful play area for kids. My grandson had a great time coloring and decorating a Día de los Muertos skull. The young lady in the children’s section was incredibly sweet and professional — such a thoughtful touch that made our visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommend Fred’s Cancun for anyone looking for great seafood, amazing service, and a place the whole family can enjoy!

The seafood here is absolutely amazing and the service is a perfect 10 out of 10, super friendly and professional. I loved everything from the vibe to the quality of service and food. The only thing I didn’t enjoy was the vegetable dish. The grilled vegetables tasted undercooked and a bit cold, and the fresh salad was covered in cheese. I assume that might suit American tastes, but I personally prefer a more European style that is lighter, more focused on the vegetables with just some vinegar, not smothered in cheese. We only took one bite of the vegetable dish and left it at that. On the other hand, dessert was fantastic. We were celebrating our 10 year anniversary and our server did an amazing job making the evening special. I genuinely enjoyed the whole experience. Overall, the seafood is excellent and I highly recommend this place for a date night, just skip the vegetable dish.

Absolutely phenomenal experience at Fred's Seafood and Raw Bar! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and well taken care of. The food was incredibly fresh — the seafood was bursting with flavor, perfectly prepared, and beautifully presented. But what truly made the evening unforgettable was the exceptional service from Claudia and Alaine. They went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect — warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. It's rare to come across such hospitality these days, and they made us feel like VIPs the entire night. If you're looking for top-notch seafood paired with 5-star service, Fred's is the place to go. We'll definitely be back — and we’ll be asking for Claudia and Alaine again!

First we have to say the service was amazing. The food was definitely not with going back for. The lobster bisque was tasty and the wedge salad was good. I ordered the lobster tail with garlic butter and a baked potato. The lobster tail was completely covered in a garlic breading and the flavor was so overwhelming and salty that it was almost inedible. The baked potato had so much cream on it that you couldn't taste the potato. We also had the tuna with a sauce that was also overwhelming. We didn't finish any of the dishes.
