The food is incredible, biggest prawns i’ve ever seen. The octopus melts in your mouth. The corn cake was a nice discovery. For some reason the mariachi went around to all tables except the one with my brother and me. Anyway, great place. We had an absolutely wonderful evening at El Mortero. Melissa, Geniz, Silystre, and Kizman were exceptional and truly made the night memorable. My daughter was completely charmed by the magic show. The food was outstanding. We ordered different dishes, and each one was simply divine. The live mariachi added an authentic and elegant touch to the ambiance. It was a joyful, beautifully curated experience from start to finish. Thank you for such a lovely evening. Thank you. We made a reservation at this restaurant as part of the all-inclusive package at Krystal Hotel Cancun during our recent vacation. The staff greeted us warmly and made us feel very welcome, which we truly appreciated. We really enjoyed the appetizers — they were fresh and flavorful. However, the main courses didn’t quite meet our expectations, so we politely decided to leave and return to the hotel to enjoy the open buffet instead. As we were leaving, I sensed that some of the staff seemed disappointed or even offended by our decision. I want to offer a small piece of advice: if a customer doesn’t enjoy a particular dish, it doesn’t necessarily mean the food is bad — it might just not match their personal taste or expectations. A positive attitude and understanding go a long way in creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

The Place is very nice, typical Mexican and the atmosphere wonderful with mariachi that sing and play songs around the tables. Also the service is kind, the only thing that disappoint me was food, maybe I chose the wrong dish...casuela de mariscos. My bad!

I accidentally found out this place for Sunday buffet. It is amazing! They have various different Mexican food and drinks, and even mimosas. Food quality was good, and they have live music too. Highly recommend to come on sundays, you can try different food in small amount (I can’t eat a lot)
