I saw mixed reviews but we had a great time! The service was excellent, the servers were so energetic and kind. The atmosphere and music was great. We were expecting the prices to be high and while they were, the portions for food and drinks were pretty generous. We also had shisha, margaritas were delicious, Greek salad and mussels were a good portion and good quality. Beautiful place to take pictures and very easily accessible. We were staying in the resort on the strip and took the bus to the restaurant there and back. Definitely recommend. We spent $460 CANADIAN. Pricey? Yes. Worth the visit? Definitely yes. I came to Taboo to celebrate my last night in Cancun for my birthday trip and it was simply amazing! Food options are great, the staff are really knowledgable and attentive to customers. The decor and atmosphere of here is beautiful and I really enjoyed my food. I also got a surprise happy birthday cake which was lovely! Thank you to the team at Taboo and I would definitely recommend.

I had an absolutely fantastic dining experience at Taboo restaurant in Cancun! The atmosphere was vibrant, thanks to the live DJ and saxophone, creating the perfect backdrop for a memorable evening. The food was outstanding, with an incredible choice between seafood and BBQ steak that left us thoroughly satisfied. The appetizers were equally amazing, setting the tone for the rest of the meal. As a Lebanese, I was particularly impressed with the hookah service, which added a lovely touch to our evening. The presentation of each dish was top-notch, and I can't praise the service enough – it was a solid 10 out of 10! Everything was perfect, making it a night to remember. Highly recommend! Best time to go is by sunset and make your reservation before to avoid waiting time!!

Having had the best experience, we previously visited Rosa Negra for business reasons but this time we decided to go to Taboo to enjoy a romantic dinner and a unique experience. Everything was a good welcome even from the entrance, the hosts are very friendly at the table, the welcome from the waiter was wonderful the food was delicious, and the drinks were quite good in general. Sorry for not having more photos, but I really enjoyed it so much I didn't take any more! That's a good reason to come back. Gracias por la cena Taboo!
