My first time and first day in Colombo and I just found this place on google, it was near our hotel and we just decided to go. All I can say is that this place definitely a must must try in Colombo. The food was just amazing. We loved everything. The dishes are very filling, it was more than enough for the 2 of us, we were super full and highly satisfied after our meal. A great comfort food place with amazing food and drinks. Though I am not sure if this is expensive or normal for Colombo, our bill was LKR10,000. Though 3 of us could have had the food

Wonderful experience. Went around 11 am, so it was not crowded, usually its difficult to get seats, but there was no wait today. Parking is on the road, at times it is difficult to park the car. The service was top notch, the waiters were helpful. The food was wonderful with aesthetic presentation. Tinkiri tea was perfect blend of condensed milk and tea, every sip was tasty. Would highly recommend the place.

I ordered a Tinkiri Tea, which was brewed to perfection, balancing flavors in a way that made every sip a moment of pure comfort. The Pulled Off Sandwich was equally impressive — fresh, flavorful, and so satisfying. You can tell that everything here is made with care and attention to detail. The atmosphere is absolutely delightful. It’s the kind of place where you can unwind, whether you’re alone with a book or chatting with friends. The decor is inviting and creates the perfect setting for a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. What truly made my visit stand out, however, was the heartfelt hospitality. The owner was such a gem — always ready to greet every customer with a warm smile as they entered, and making sure to bid everyone farewell with the same kindness as they left. It’s rare to see such personal attention in today’s busy world, and it made me feel like I was a part of something special. The staff were also incredibly helpful, attentive, and genuinely friendly, making me feel at home the entire time. I was also impressed by how immaculately clean the place was. It’s clear that the team takes great pride in maintaining a spotless environment, which adds to the overall comfort and enjoyment of the experience. If you’re looking for a place to enjoy delicious food, great tea, and a wonderful atmosphere — with the added bonus of warm, genuine service — The Stache is the place to be. It’s not just a cafe; it’s a place where you feel cared for and where every visit leaves you with a smile. I can’t wait to return!

Buzzing with energy and staff is great. Owner/manager was wonderful in welcoming me. It's a busy place especially on the weekends so book head, they close on Mondays. Kitchen gets very busy and dishes can take up to 40 mins to come out (not a quick bite place). Try their signature dishes, I tried the scotch egg with prawns (signature dish and it's to die for) and coffee with Cardamom (house special). All of it is an orgasm in your mouth.
