From a distance, you will get to experience the unique feeding techniques and socializing behaviors that our dolphins display out in the wild. Along the way, your experienced guide and certified captain will teach you all about our salt marsh estuary. Embark on a guided, eco-based kayaking adventure through the saltwater estuaries of Folly Creek, navigating a network of tidal creeks that wind around uninhabited hammock islands. This 2-hour marsh kayaking excursion is designed for intermediate to novice, and young adult paddlers, ensuring a relaxed and enjoyable experience for all skill levels. You and a small group of paddlers will explore the unspoiled coastal marshes of Charleston's estuaries, immersing yourselves in the area's tranquil ambiance and breathtaking natural beauty. As you paddle through these pristine waters, keep an eye out for the diverse wildlife that calls this habitat home. Encounter Atlantic bottlenose dolphins playfully surfacing, catch glimpses of loggerhead sea turtles gliding by, and observe a variety of waterfowl in their natural environment. This adventure offers a unique opportunity to connect with nature and witness the vibrant ecosystem of Charleston's coastal marshes.

On this tour, the boat ride through Folly Beach's most pristine marshlands is a must do and an adventure in itself. Along the way, your captain will teach you about our local estuary and the wildlife that inhabit it. You will get to see many variety of birds and other sea creatures including our resident bottlenose dolphins! Once at Morris you will be able to enjoy the island, look for various sea shells that scatter the area, and take in the stunning views of the historic lighthouse! You will get to explore the barrier island for approximately 1 hour before getting back on the boat. This tour can be enjoyed by the whole family and is the ultimate saltwater experience in Charleston!

There is so much more awaiting you off the Charleston peninsula! Here is your opportunity to take a small group, 1/2 day tour (8 or less) in my 2021 Mercedes Sprinter. This tour has something for everyone, while we visit the most picturesque spots outside the limits in the Lowcountry. Get your dose of lighthouses, beaches, piers, forts and endless history. You will quickly understand how important the Charleston area is in American history, while taking in the ocean breeze. First, we travel to Folly Beach to visit the lighthouse, beach and pier. Next, a drive through historical Citadel Military college. Then, on to Sullivan's Island, and to stroll the grounds of Fort Moultrie, out to the beach, and the best view of Charleston from the water. This 2-hour introductory paddle on the Edge of America will get you into the basics of SUP, all in the calm flatwater of the Folly River. All safaris begin with "ground school" or SUP instructions with your Lifeguard Certified Instructors. We'll explore alongside the numerous beautiful native birds and bottlenose dolphins. We'll go with the flow, following the tides and wind direction for a great beginning paddle. At low tide we visit a private beach and go for a swim! Explore Folly Island from head to toe. Most Charleston visitors don't even realize our area has beautiful beaches! And Folly Beach will make you feel as if you've been transported to Key West! Arrive in style in my 2021 Mercedes Sprinter van, put your sun and surf clothes on, and soak in this surfer beach town. We can take 1-10 people. Our adventure takes us out on a 1/2 mile walk to the northern end of Folly, with a beautiful vista of Morris Island Lighthouse. This is where several scenes from Outer Banks is filmed. Next, walk the boardwalk into the ocean on Folly Beach Pier. Margaritas or ice cream anyone? Then, I will set you loose on the town to enjoy surfer shops. Taco Boy is my suggestion, but lunch is up to you. Finally, a drive to the south end of Folly, and the county park. Customize your adventure in advance and add additional hours.
