It is an impressive journey in JAN in Nice. We can feel the idea the chief would like to bring to us for each dish. Really impressed by the cheese room. The service and vibe are quite good and comfortable. Worth to visiting again! Also the Rusks , it is good!

This was, without a doubt, the best dining experience I’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, every detail was flawless — the warm, attentive service, the beautifully curated ambience, and, most importantly, the food. Each course was a masterpiece, with flavour combinations and textures that surprised and delighted us throughout the evening. The presentation was impeccable, and the wine pairings elevated the dishes to another level. It’s clear that this is a kitchen where passion, precision, and creativity meet. Dining here is so much more than just a meal — it’s an experience, and one I’ll remember forever. Chef Jan and his team have created something truly world-class, and it made me incredibly proud to see a fellow South African making such an extraordinary mark in the culinary world. We loved our dinner at Bistrot de Jan. The food and wine were both excellent, and the service was just as impressive. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly, and made some fantastic wine suggestions that really elevated the meal. We sat on the patio and ordered the pork chop, the trout, a side of potatoes, and the Caesar salad. To start, we shared the mussels and the mushrooms. Both were absolute standouts and the highlight of the night. Every dish was beautifully prepared and full of flavour. Highly recommend.

Mix between France and South Africa The SA influences were not my favorite and I was still very hungry till we got to the magical room across the street Loved that set up and formula It might require selecting the best products However it’s not cooking So both delicious and slightly disappointing
