Ijo is a beautiful restaurant with great service and a nice atmosphere, but the food didn’t really meet our expectations. We ordered three starters. They all looked amazing, really well presented, but the taste just wasn’t there. The flavors were a bit all over the place and didn’t blend very well. The soba noodles were the best dish we had and were actually quite good. For the main course, one of the meals also didn’t taste great. It had some interesting ingredients and a lot of different flavors, but they didn’t work well together. The dessert looked good but was only average in taste. From what I saw around, people who ordered the steak seemed to enjoy it more. The service was excellent. The staff were friendly, attentive, and really professional. The atmosphere was also very nice, calm, and comfortable. Overall, Ijo is a nice place with great service and a good vibe, but the food needs improvement to match the way it looks.

LJO was the best restaurant I’ve experienced in Bali. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner there, and the spacious garden view from the nearby villa was absolutely beautiful. The pizza was especially amazing — definitely the best I’ve had in Bali and the dish I’d most recommend. We came to Bali for our honeymoon, and among all our experiences here, the evening at Ljo and our trip to Gili Island were the most romantic moments. The wine list was also impressive — much better than most other places we’ve been to. Many thanks to Ary, who was so kind and attentive from start to finish. Highly recommended! 🌿❤️

I spent a week on Gili Trawangan. It was my first time visiting the island, and I had several meals at IJO Restaurant. The food was really delicious, fresh, and healthy. Most of the ingredients came from their own garden, and they really care about eco-sustainability. From the restaurant’s design to the tableware, everything reflects that commitment I didn’t see any plastic at all. I was really impressed by this. Also, the overall vibe was just right. I’m really happy I got to have this experience.

Some of the best service we’ve experienced. Anjas, our waiter, was attentive, personable and went the extra mile repeatedly. We never waited, on anything. On top of that, the food and atmosphere couldn’t be better. Beachfront views of fireworks and evening lightening in the distance was complimented by wagyu beef and top quality pizza, which culminated in a traditional Indonesian dessert. All I can say is Wow!

The food was amazing. The side of sweet mash potatoes with the meat is an absolute must. The place is very cozy, you can have dinner with your feet in the sand. The staff and service are so nice and hospitable but this young man named Sahrul is off the charts. Very nice and caring host. He explained all the menu to us with a clear deep knowledge of everything. If he suggests you something, just trust and order it!
