Went here for lunch and boy it was way beyond my expectation. The staff is very active, specially Gopal, made sure that our food was in time, gave attention to details (everytime we looked up to get something, the staff paid attention). Very attentive and pleasant. We had cafre grilled pomfret, seafood platter, goan curry, and the drink road trip- loved everything. Must try!

I went to this restaurant in Goa for dinner. The food was average—nothing stood out in terms of taste or presentation. The dishes come in round plates, which is fine, but the prices felt a bit high for the quality, typical of Anjuna-style restaurants. The ambiance was okay, and they do have a good crowd, which suggests it’s popular, but personally, I don’t think I’ll be returning.

Loved everything here. The food was amazing. We had French fries , fish cutlets, butter garlic prawns , chilly cheese poi, prawn goan curry and Hakka noodles.all the items were really good. Special mention for the chutneys , sooo goooooddd. Drinks were amazing . We had the feni based drinks. The service was quick and our server Faiz was very sweet and quick. Very chill atmosphere with lovely music playing.

Maka Zai is a delightful spot that beautifully blends Goan charm with a relaxed, vibrant atmosphere. We tried the Devil Paneer, Grilled Fish, and Goan Vegetables Cafreal Curry — and every dish was absolutely delicious! The flavors were authentic, well-balanced, and perfectly cooked. A must-visit restaurant in Goa for anyone who loves great food.

The goan food here tastes delicious!! The drinks, the service, the ambience and especially the music, everything is a 10/10. Everything on the menu was freshly made including the deserts, we took home the BunNut, but I’d rather eat it at the restaurant when freshly served. But honestly, the food was so good we had no space for desert.
