La Luna Dining

We had a fantastic dining experience at La Luna. The food was absolutely beautiful — fresh, perfectly cooked, and well-seasoned. Every dish was full of flavour and clearly made with care. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a lovely place to relax and enjoy a meal. If I had one small critique, it’s that the sides were on the smaller side — but that’s a minor note in what was otherwise a perfect experience. We’ll definitely be back!

I pre-booked with details of why our party was dining somewhere special (what I thought was a fine dining experience). Unfortunately, upon arrival we were questioned why we were there etc, it's as if the pre-booking details they ask of you, or that you choose to share because of a special day, mean nothing and are not even reviewed. It's disappointing because when you choose nice restaurants like this you do expect a little extra. The drinks were lovely, the food was nice. The risotto was extremely salty, almost inedible. The ragu pasta was nice. We chose not to have desert. We ended up going to a cafe around the corner for the rest of our afternoon as it was more pleasant. EDIT: I did write a paragraph in the comment section when I booked stating why we were going to lunch - I remember submitting it and re-reading it. It was out wedding day that morning so I would not leave it just as a tag.

Our company came for a group dinner here two nights ago and so many of us came away saying it was one of the best places we've been. The food was just the right amount for such a huge set menu with so many different flavours. I really liked that though it was a set menu, we could still have the freedom of choosing our own mains and dessert. The staff were so lovely and attentive, which made the experience of dining at La Luna that much more memorable. Organising the event with Danielle via email was really easy, she was super clear about what information we needed to provide. Hope to dine here again next time I come to the Gold Coast in a few months.

Could not be happier with the dinner we had here while on holiday. The decor was stunning and the food was some of the best I’ve ever had. Truly felt like we were dining in Europe. All the staff were so lovely and our waitress kindly sang happy birthday to my partner when she bought out dessert. Hope I get to come again soon!

We dined at La Luna for lunch as a belated Mothers Day lunch for my wife and daughter. Whilst some of the food was lovely, some of it also was not. We waited almost 30 mins to be served initially, and then following the service was on and off. Up until a new staff member Georgia arrived the service had been very poor, but she managed to change that for us. Oysters fresh and delicious, kingfish was beautiful and delicate. Bug rolls were hit and miss, mine delicious, but my wife's overcooked and chewy. Not sure what the flavour of the scallop was supposed to be, but although cooked perfectly it was not enjoyable for any us. Beef Carpaccio was enjoyed only by me, no one else like it. Prawns were disappointing for the cost. For a very expensive meal I was hoping to enjoy 5 star food but unfortunately some just didn't make it in our opinions. If the service had been great from the beginning it may have been more enjoyable.
