The food was rather average and didn’t stand out, but the atmosphere was pleasant and lively. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which made the overall experience enjoyable. A nice place to relax, especially for drinks or a casual outing in the very center of Gouda.

Great little restaurant. We were made to feel very welcome and comfortable during our visit. The staff came to greet my wife whilst she was inspecting the menu outside. We chose to sit inside the restaurant rather than sit outside, and felt there was plenty of room regardless of how narrow it felt. The atmosphere in the restaurant was great and the music was ace. The food itself was very tasty, my wife and children really enjoyed the food. I will only take away one small star due to the fact that even though service was great, I felt we were left alone quite a few times. I will actually put this down as perhaps a cultural difference as we are English and don't want to bother anyone!

A cozy bar in Gouda for a fun Friday night out. The drinks are fresh and tasty, the cool down you need on a summer evening. I liked the cocktail I ordered, but what really impressed me was the sangria: it was a special one, with a couple alcohols mixed, including liquor 43. Turns out that they all go well, together with the seasonal fruits. Furthermore, the live music conveys positive vibrations and feelings of comfort and pleasure. Therefore, the atmosphere is joyful and lively. That is also written out on the faces of the welcoming staff; they were kind and helpful. Moreover, the bar turns into disco after 22:30-23 o’clock and there is plenty of space where you can freely dance! In conclusion, a wonderful place by many factors!

Great atmosphere, good food, friendly staff. However, if you're used to having water in a pitcher/caraffe this isn't the place. You can only get paid bottled water regardless of what you order next to it. This is not totally uncommon in the Netherlands but something that Dutch restaurants could improve. Learn from Germany, France and Italy where serving tap-water is standard on each table.

Their street guy was the selling point; we were not sure on whether or not this was where we wanted to eat, but he was very convincing. The food was great and I'm glad that we ended up eating here.
