Parking here is pretty limited, with only a few stalls available in front of the restaurant. The space itself is small but has both indoor and outdoor seating. The interior is modern and welcoming, but it definitely needs A/C, we were sweating most of the time lol. Service here was fantastic. Everyone was very nice and helpful, which made the experience even better. The food was really good too. Everything had great flavor and felt like true comfort soul food. The only downside for us was the portion size. For the price, we expected a little more food or protein on each dish. That’s the main reason this isn’t a full 5 star review. Overall, everything tasted great, we just wished the portions matched the price a bit better.

Chef’s Kiss! From the moment we walked in, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. The host was absolutely fabulous—warm, welcoming, and attentive. Chef Cory is truly a champion in the kitchen. Every dish he prepared was bursting with flavor and cooked with care, feeding both the soul and the stomach. My husband had the blackened salmon with grits (not pictured), and he couldn’t stop raving about it. I went for the chicken & waffles with a side of catfish—perfection! The waffles were crisp on the outside, fluffy inside, and the chicken melted in your mouth. And that catfish? A must-have. We also met wonderful guests from all over the country, which made the brunch feel even more special. The vibe was lively and full of good energy. Pro tip: don’t walk—run—and grab that Arnold Palmer. Everything is made to order and so fresh. We’ll definitely be back!

Food took entirely too long to be served. We ordered a combo plate ribs/catfish with Mac and side okra- Definitely not portioned for price.- Fish was over fried and cut as nugget pieces. No parking available.

Absolutely a lovely and heartfelt meal. I can tell this is made with love. I always support Black owned businesses and this place is phenomenal. When I think of catfish this is it. Crispy, well seasoned think of like hush puppies. Creamy grits with the perfect romance of salt and overall flavor. Will definitely be writing about this one on my food blog!

Absolutely love this restaurant! Sitting at the counter makes it feels like a friend cooking for you in their kitchen. :) The owner and his family are super sweet. The food is great and the atmosphere is cozy. Glad to have some good soul food in town.
