Animale Restaurant truly exceeded my expectations. The ambiance is elegant yet comfortable, making it a perfect place for both special occasions and casual dinners. The food was outstanding, every dish was beautifully presented and full of unique, bold flavors. I especially loved the bone marrow and truffle hunter, which was cooked perfectly and had an amazing depth of taste. The cocktails were creative and well-balanced, adding to the whole dining experience. Service was top-notch — the staff were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. Overall, an exceptional dining experience from start to finish. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Jakarta, and I’ll be coming back for sure!

We had the most amazing lunch at Animale! The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous, and every single dish was incredible. The flavours, presentation, and attention to detail were outstanding. The chef even came out to speak with us, which made the experience feel extra special. Highly recommend - one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in Jakarta!

Such a beautiful dining experience at Carbon I came to Carbon for my late birthday dinner. I dined alone, but my boyfriend, who is of Peruvian descent, treated me to this meal from Japan. I had been wanting to try a Peruvian restaurant for a long time since it’s quite rare to find one in Jakarta. The service was so kind and thoughtful. I have a nut allergy (specifically macadamia), and they made sure everything I ordered was safe for me. I really appreciated that level of care. Here’s what I had: - Cauliflower Steak – one of the best I’ve ever tasted. So flavorful and perfectly cooked. - Garlic Mojo Mushrooms – three kinds of mushrooms, all seasoned beautifully. I loved every bite. - “Arroz Chaufa” Chicken – the star of the night. Everything was just right, and when I mixed the rice, chicken, sauce, and crispy onions together, it was pure magic. - Avocado Bon Bon – like a tiny avocado smoothie inside chocolate ganache. Perfect balance, perfect size. The arroz chaufa felt especially meaningful since my boyfriend often talks about this dish from his culture. It made me feel connected to him, even from afar. Salud to the chef — so talented. Every detail was right: the portion, the balance, the flavor. Wow. Thank you to the chef and team for making this such a memorable meal. Everything was beyond my expectations, from the food to the warmth of the service. Definitely a place I’ll return to and recommend to anyone looking for something special in Jakarta. 💚

We had dinner at Animale Setiabudi to celebrate a birthday. The atmosphere was lovely and the service was nice, but unfortunately, the food tasted a bit plain and didn’t quite meet our expectations for such a special occasion. It’s still a nice spot for gatherings, but we hoped for a bit more in terms of flavor and overall experience. 🎂✨

I had a wonderful dining experience at Animale Restaurant Jakarta. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was elegant and comfortable. The overall service was great, especially from Dandi, who was very polite, attentive, and made sure everything went smoothly during our dinner. There was a small moment when one of the other waiters seemed a bit less friendly, but it didn’t affect our overall experience. The team handled everything professionally, and the evening remained enjoyable and pleasant. Thank you, Animale team, for the warm hospitality I truly appreciate it and would love to come back again soon P.S.
