Malee Kitchen was a lovely little find on my trip to Koh Samui. Tucked away but easy to spot, it has a casual, laid-back atmosphere. One thing I really appreciated - aside from the food - was the fan aimed directly at our table. After being in the heat all day, that breeze was a blessing. Simple touch, but it made a huge difference in comfort!! Now, the food - absolutely delicious. I ordered the satay chicken skewers and honestly, they were the best I’ve had during my time on the island. Juicy, well-marinated, with a rich peanut sauce that actually tasted homemade (not like the overly sweet stuff you get sometimes). Service was warm and friendly without being overbearing, and prices were very fair for the quality. If you’re looking for a casual spot with great food and good airflow (yes, it matters!), Malee Kitchen is well worth a visit.

Outstanding quality, authentic Thai food in a clean, comfortable restaurant. Yes, it is more expensive than many other places, but the quality of the ingredients, the skill of the chefs, the attentiveness (and charm) of the staff make it excellent value. Whatever you order will be freshly prepared with care, and being able to adjust the spiciness of each dish is a massive bonus when dining as a group (from ‘no spice’, to ‘little spicy’ to ‘spicy’ and finally, ‘Thai spicy’, which is to be attempted only by the bravest and most seasoned chilli connoisseurs). Didn’t take any photos of our food as we were too keen to dig in! Highly recommended.

No regret ! The menu is not extensive which is a good sign of good cuisine. Happy we followed the reciews. We had laab gai, calamari rings, shrimps,tomyam hotpot,fried fish,crab fried rice, mango sticky rice and the banana fritters. 4 mango shakes, water for 4 and a coke. All came nicely presented and delicious. 3400 baht. Better to pay in cash with card it will add 3% charge. Loved it

Service is good food are delicious but a bit costly as the portion are small. During our dinning only a few customers may be due to low peak period.

Excellent Thai food! This restaurant has traditional dishes that are full of flavor. Very small restaurant, better for small groups. Team speaks perfect English.
