This Sunset tour allows visitors to discover the hidden world and wildlife of the lush rainforest, and the picturesque volcano, which is dyed in the colors of the sunset, hanging of the most spectacular bridges of Costa Rica. Accompanied by a naturalist guide, you will hike a paved trail of 3.2 km, with a total of six hanging bridges.

This tour takes place inside a private farm surrounded by primary and secondary forest, giving you the opportunity to enjoy excellent panoramic views of the canyon and the rain forest.  This tour is recommended for adults and children. During the journey, the specialized nature guides will give you important information about the different species of animals and vegetation found along the tour.

We begin the tour by heading to the El Silencio Private Reserve, to get as close to the base of the volcano as possible by vehicle. Next, we will walk approximately 1.5 kilometer along a volcanic stone path with a moderate degree of difficulty, until we reach the viewpoint, the closest point to volcano permitted to access. At the viewpoint, our guide will provide relevant information on the formation of the Arenal Volcano, its periods of activity, as well as unpublished details of its first eruption in 1968. You can also enjoy the excellent views of the Green Lagoon and Lake Arenal. On the guide’s indication, we will begin our descent back.

We will start early morning visiting the famous Fortuna Waterfall, then we will head out to Arenal Volcano ecological park where we also walk through all the lava rock fields then we will refresh in the Tabacon Lagoon in the park, then after a delicious lunch we will finish in the natural hot springs river Tabacon.

We have a privileged location, where you can immerse yourself in the beauty of the tropical forest, with 3 different paths to travel, each with different difficulty (simple, intermediate and difficult), its approximate extension is 2 kilometers per path, but do not worry you can choose the route that best suits you and thus, achieve access to the lava laundry 1535, 1968 and 2010 (depending on your choice). From our viewpoint you can admire the panoramic views of the majestic Arenal Volcano, one of the most emblematic volcanoes in Costa Rica.
