⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5 – Incredible Views & Service, but Food Needs a Few Tweaks 71Above is one of the most visually stunning dining spots in Los Angeles. The ambiance is modern and elegant, and if you’re lucky enough to be seated by the windows, the panoramic views of the city are absolutely breathtaking. Service: The staff was excellent—attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. The level of service definitely reflects fine dining standards. Food Review (3-Course Dinner): • Farm Salad – 4/5 Fresh, well-balanced, and beautifully plated. Great way to start the meal. • A5+ Japanese Wagyu – 5/5 (for the steak) Melt-in-your-mouth delicious. One of the highlights of the night. ❗️However, the potato served with it was overly salty and barely enjoyable, which took away from the perfection of the main course. • Desserts – unfortunately disappointing I ordered the Blueberry Pavlova and the Ilanka Chocolate Semifreddo. Both were overpowered by an extremely sour lime component, to the point where they were not pleasant to eat. The flavor balance was way off. ⸻ 🎯 Overall: ✅ Amazing view ✅ Excellent service ✅ Wagyu was unforgettable ❌ Sides and desserts need refinement I’d still recommend 71Above for the experience alone, but I hope the kitchen adjusts some of the flavors so the food can fully match the beauty of the space.

Went for my birthday dinner with some friends and the ambience was unmatched! The food was next level and all of the staff were very polite and inviting! My Espresso Martini hit the spot! And yess Caviar made me feel like I was Prince of Wakanda! We had to make a reservation and got the set dinner menu that was offered! Everyone enjoyed their food!

My experience was not an amazing dinner experience at 71above restaurant. The food wasn't up to par, but the atmosphere was absolutely amazing! The ambiance was so cozy and inviting, it made up for everything else like the minimal service and par tasting food. I will not be coming back due to the experience that was not meeting my expectations. If you're looking for a place with a great atmosphere for a one time visit, this is the place. If you're looking forward to the food, this is not the place.

Perfect date night! The food and drinks are delicious. The views are superb. They offer valet but also do validated parking which I didn’t know before going. The waiter was super nice and knowledgeable about the menu. We were given complimentary cornbread with avocado snack while we waited for our food. It is a fixed menu but the options are great. We were originally seated away from the windows but our waiter was able to move us to a window seating once a table opened up which was super nice. We also were given a complimentary champagne and dessert after we finished our dinner. Really loved my experience and would return. It is pricey but I think it’s worth it to spend once in a while.

Had an amazing night at 71Above ✨ The food was fantastic my steak was even better than some of the best steakhouses I’ve tried. Their cocktails are a must-try. I just picked the wrong wine this time (should’ve stuck with Cabernet instead of Pinot 😅). Delicious salad, incredible dessert I loved everything about it!
