The vibe, the decor, and the staff are wonderful. The food, I'm sorry but I was very disappointed. The mac & cheese didn't have any flavor. There were chopped pecans on top of the fried chicken. The shrimp and grits left a lot to be desired. The hashbrowns were like grocery store hash browns. There are so many better potato options that can replace store bought hash browns. I heard the fish was really good. I didn't try it. The fried pickles were tasty. The best item was their cornbread and butter. It was prepared to perfection. Cool mimosas with frozen fruit juice cubes. My first time here with my sisters and friends. It was a group of 5 of us. We had reservations for brunch at noon on today, a Saturday, and were seated immediately. They had a very friendly, helpful and professional staff. Our main server was Tony who was super helpful and informative. Including everything we ordered we had the Fried Chicken and Waffles, Nashville Hot Fried Catfish, Sunday Collards, Cast Iron Mac & Cheese, Curry Braised Beef & Sweet Potato Hash, Edisto Island Cornbread, Iced Sweet Tea and Iced Matcha Latte. The chicken and beef were tender. The food was mostly good and we were satisfied. Everything could've been seasoned more as we like our foods seasoned well. The catfish was more tasty with the hot sauce we added. The waffles were way more tastier with the syrup added. And FYI, the chicken and waffles contain pecans. The collards could've used a more Southern touch of seasonings. But all in all, we did enjoy the food. The sweet tea and matcha latte were not sweet upon getting them but Tony explained they usually make them that way because some people don't like them sweetened, but had no problem immediately taking the drinks back to sweeten them for us, which made them just right. The food and drinks were very reasonably priced. They do automatically include a 4% service charge on the bill to cover the added expense of using a credit card. But if you pay cash they will remove the service fee. The atmosphere is very cozy and nice. It's a good size restaurant without being too big but not too small, nice and quaint with indoor and outdoor seating. We did sit inside. I parked directly across the street in the parking garage that was $14 for full day parking and we were there for a few hrs. All in all, we enjoyed the food and everything and would return again. 10/10 happy hour. Joyce won’t stiff you on these $12 small plates and $10 cocktails. Wish I remembered the bartender’s name because she was killer. Was recommended tthe oysters bienvelle 🦪 and fried game hen 🐓. Oysters were LOADED with cheese and gravy, these were a treat. Seasoning on the chicken was some of the best I’ve had, and paired with the homemade ranch, this was a winner as well. Vibe inside is quite elegant for southern cuisine, but still approachable. Should be packed daily for happy hour.

Just ok. I came in around 8p and sat at the bar. It seemed relatively quiet but service was slow and everything took a long time to come out. The Mac and cheese was really good, the sea bass was dry and came out lukewarm. If I lived in town I think I’d give them one more try- but if you’re traveling I’d put this at the bottom of your list.

The vibe was dope but some menu items were not available along with some of the food (such as the duck) was overcooked. The drinks were definitely on point! To be paying some hefty prices for the food, portion size and quality could have been better. Maybe best during happy hour.
