👍They serve delicious food very fast, next to the Nile and for a good price. We ate mixed grill - kofta ( 💯✅ one of the best i ate, and i am from countries were kofta or ćevapi are common dish),shish kebab and chicken and their specialty Fatta bil lahm (a little bit spicy beef with rice and some tomato garlic sauce). Second time we tried tajin djaj and it was delicious too, besides the fabulously delicious koftas. Lemon with mint was very refreshing and tasty too.

I can tell a difference since I live in Egypt. Luxor has a terrible food. Portions are tiny for Egyptian standards. All other cities follow Egyptian standards. Lentil soup- passable. You don't have to be a chef to make a delicious one. Lamb chops are tiny and expensive. Chops were tasty.They are even stingy with friends. It's a potato and it's not expensive in Egypt. Salad is of the same size as ordered off Talabat.

We had a delicious meal here on a recommendation. You absolutely must order their pigeon. It’s an incredible dish - make sure you use your hands for to eat it for the full experience. Delicious Mezze too. Hummus, pita, baba ganoush, cheese sambousek - all on point. A stand out dinning experience in Luxor for sure. Friendly and attentive staff too.

The view at El-Kababgy during sunset was beautiful coupled with decent food, making way for what was potentially an enjoyable evening. Unfortunately, the service ruined the experience. We felt that we were being chased out of the restaurant, even though we had not sat for very long (30 - 45mins). A few of us had finished our meals, and the staff immediately started clearing our plates. One of our members was still eating but we were already being asked if we wanted the cheque. As soon as we paid, they immediately began cleaning the table. All of this was done so they could join our table with another group that had arrived, despite plenty of empty tables being available. This left a very bad taste in our mouth and made us feel unwelcome. No matter how nice the view is, we would defintiely not come back for this kind of treatment.

We loved this restaurant so much we came twice, once for dinner and again for lunch. The food was excellent: we tried two different soups (tomato and vegetable), both absolutely delicious, as well as the shish tawook, and the next day the tajin djaj, all perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The setting by the Nile is beautiful, quiet, peaceful, with felucca boats drifting nearby. The staff were very kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Highly recommended!
