We came to Snobs twice during our visit to Luxor. Snobs really has one of the warmest, most calm homely atmospheres I've ever felt in a restaurant. The walls of the restaurant are decorated with 20s style posters, and vintage artists such as the Courdettes play in the background. The owner is the loveliest man that welcomes you warmly. He speaks very good English and explains the dishes to help you decide. The food is sublime! The first night we chose the spring rolls and the beef tagine with rice. The spring rolls are home made and come with what I think was a homemade chilli chutney and soy sauce - all delicious. The beef is succulent and the tagine gravy is rich and full of flavour. The next night we had the spring rolls again. We also opted for the chicken and egg fried rice with the chicken curry. The owner was very generous and gave us our own plate of rice each. The rice was perfectly cooked and the curry had the right amount of heat. Plates cleared! The prices are very reasonable. There is also a nice selection of desserts to clear your palate. Just A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.! We got the whole set and mango juice, was pretty cool! I would go here even for a date. Very chill and romantic. Whatever we didn’t finish, we took away. Highly recommended

Highly recommended for having great food just across the Steigenberger, Pyramisa or Sonesta Hotels. Only at a walking distance with good music and peaceful atmosphere. The food’s quality and quantity is very good - especially from an Indian perspective. Perfect mix of spicy and sweet-sour. The manager is also a happy go lucky guy. Try for sure!

Upon reading all the reviews we decided we must try! Our negative was service- waiter was unfriendly, unhelpful and unwelcoming. We actually felt a bit uncomfortable!!! On the positive side place was very nice, clean, great prices and food was good….would highly recommend for the food, and hope your waiter is pleasant!

Snobs is located on a side road opposite Steinberger Nile palace hotel. Quite a lowkey restaurant and inside it holds a classical 1920-40’s vibe. The food here is remarkable the chicken shawarma and rice was done so well. It’s not your typical shawarma wrap so don’t be fooled. It came in as a curry and the flavours were tantalising! Their hospitality was beyond words. Had a word with the boss Mu’min, he explained that it’s his family business run by him, his brother and son. This is a must try place perfect for lunch and/or dinner. Some of the best food I’ve had in Luxor if not Egypt itself!
