Just been here, and what an absolute pleasure. I took a taxi from my hotel which was 30 minutes and totally worth it. I was the only person there when I arrived. I was greeted and offered a welcome drink, egyptian tea obviously. I picked the beef tagine, and it was incredible. I was also shown the clay oven they use and I attempted to make the famous bread with them. Showed me how to roll it out and put in the over and flip. It was just wonderful. Come here if you want some very good egyptian hospitality, traditional food cooked the traditional way, and just a very pleasant and great experience. Thank you, and I will be back next year with my father!

A Magical Dining Experience in Luxor I had the pleasure of celebrating my birthday dinner at this incredible Egyptian restaurant while on vacation in Luxor, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. This place is a gem, preserving the old ways of cooking and maintaining traditional methods that make every bite authentic and unique. The food is freshly prepared in traditional Egyptian pots and cooked in a clay oven, which gives it a rich and unparalleled flavor. Every dish we tried was simply amazing—super tasty and cooked to perfection. It felt like a true feast of Egyptian flavors. What makes this restaurant even more special is its atmosphere. It feels like stepping back in time, with the smells of delicious food filling the air and a rustic charm that’s hard to find anywhere else. The staff is incredibly friendly, and Mustafa, in particular, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The journey to the restaurant was part of the magic. A boat picked us up from our hotel, and we crossed the Nile under the evening sky. On the other side, a tuk-tuk was waiting to take us to the restaurant. This seamless blend of hospitality and adventure added an extra layer of excitement to the evening. I cannot put into words how happy I felt throughout this entire experience. It was more than just a dinner—it was a memory I will cherish forever. I’m already looking forward to coming back the next time I’m in Luxor. This is not only food, they create an experience. The place itself is cozi and beautiful, with an open view kitchen, the clay oven outside, and a beautifully decorated environment. The staff is so friendly! They explained everything and they even let us make our own breads. Thank you very much for the great experience guys, we'll be back!

Not just a family owned restaurant, eating here is an experience! From flattening out the bread dough ourselves and putting it on the stone to bake, to enjoying delicious home-made flavourful meals (quite generous portions) and drinking tea and chatting with Mustapaha, Mahmoud and Mohammed. An unforgettable experience with some amazing people! By far the best food and atmosphere we had in Luxor, don’t miss out on this one!

An unique experience at a traditional Egyptian kitchen and restaurant. We are 3 friends from France and Morocco and we did the cooking class which was truly one of the best moments of our trip in Egypt. You can learn traditional recipes for every taste (vegetarian, meat…) made with fresh and quality products. At the end, you eat your tasty homemade dishes. We truly felt at home, don’t miss this amazing and friendly place.
