Looking for a place to enjoy a light appetizer before visiting the Thyssen Museum, we discovered Chez Madrid. The atmosphere was elegant and sophisticated, yet cozy and welcoming, with a wonderful view of the Neptune Fountain. We knew right away it would be a great spot. The staff were incredibly friendly and offered first-class service, and the food was even better. The croquettes and mussels were excellent — a perfect combination of flavors. We also enjoyed the Aperol Spritz, which made the experience even more delightful. Definitely the place to be! Ariana was my waitress and she was so lovely! I had the mussels and the steak, both were lovely. The fries were very warm, I find that hard to come across nowadays. Ariana made sure I had a drink in front of me at all times and ensured I was satisfied throughout the meal. Would recommend this place We really really enjoyed our meal here. A great blend of French and Spanish cuisine. Our server was amazing (I wish we got her name) she was doing it all!! The restaurant was severely understaffed but she managed to get it all right with impeccable care. The cheesecake was our favorite part.

Looking for a place to enjoy a light appetizer before visiting the Thyssen Museum, we discovered Chez Madrid. Ariana was my waitress and she was so lovely! I had the mussels and the steak, both were lovely. The fries were very warm, I find that hard to come across nowadays. Ariana made sure I had a drink in front of me at all times and ensured I was satisfied throughout the meal. Would recommend this place

This restaurant is right across the Prado Museum so we were not really expecting much in terms of authentic or superb food. However, this is quite a lovely restaurant and we were really surprised by our lunch here. We enjoyed different dishes and we were especially pleased with our entrees, the duck was incredible, tender and well seasoned. Delicious. The steak tar tar was just perfect. Spicy, tangy and salty. Really great. And man. Those french fries. Absolutely great. If you're in need of a snack after visiting the Prado museum, this place is a great choice

Ariana and her associates were delightful. The food was excellent and the drinks were top notch. We shared a steak and fries dish with 2 sauces that couldn’t have been better - steak perfectly cooked and fries that were crispy and delicious. This was a perfect end to our stay in Madrid
