Great local restaurant. Atmosphere is very unique. Very professional wait staff with great service. Food was delicious and the presentation really nice. We had a good bottle of a Spanish rioja. My wife had pumpkin hummus for an appetizer and a vegetarian fettucine with a blush sauce for her main course and really liked her food. I had the bistec caballero which was delicious and interesting - steak with salsa and a fried egg on top, along with delicious fried potatoes. All in all a great experience. I’d love to eat here again! Really fantastic restaurant “de autor” that is doing creative things with Colombian cuisine. It’s a bit upscale while maintaining a down to earth atmosphere. Everything is excellent - from the service to the atmosphere and obviously the food. Farid, my server offered helpful suggestions and recommendations, and asked if I would like to speak in Spanish or English. Farid also told me a little bit about the history of the building. An excellent experience all the way around. the coolest spot in medellín, with top tier service from the host to my server julian! (i think was his name) and the food was absolutely amazing– you have to try the tuna ceviche! the potato foam that came with the filet mignon was sooo tasty too. i had the guyabano gimlet and it was such a tasty drink. casa el ramal i’ll be back

Great local restaurant. Atmosphere is very unique. Very professional wait staff with great service. Food was delicious and the presentation really nice. We had a good bottle of a Spanish rioja. Really fantastic restaurant “de autor” that is doing creative things with Colombian cuisine. It’s a bit upscale while maintaining a down to earth atmosphere. We had an amazing dinner here! We’ve been traveling through Colombia for over three weeks now, and this was by far the best restaurant we’ve been to. The place itself is beautiful, set in an old building full of history and atmosphere (soft lights, candle lights, nice music). The food was absolutely incredible, especially the dishes recommended by our host Farid, who truly made our evening unforgettable. Highly recommended!

Enjoyed a great meal here at Casa El Ramal! The food was tasty, the atmosphere was chic, and our server, Farid, was attentive and helpful with recommendations. We had Mango Mezcals – which were delicious, smoky and smooth – but it looked like there were lots of good options on the drink menu. We ordered two small plates (watermelon tostada and braised fennel), a large plate (chicken curry), and a pasta, and it was sufficient for two people. The small plates were my favorite; if I have to chance to come back I will try more of those.
