This place will always be my go-to in the city. The food always slaps!!! and the chilli scrambled eggs make me think of home, so good! The sandwich was great as well, and got the orange juice with ginger and it was good too. The chocolate milkshake wasn't the best but the rest of the food made up for it lol!

We tried: 🥑 Smashed Avo $25.50 – Pickled red onion, beetroot relish, Persian feta, cherry tomatoes & two poached eggs on Rustica sesame soy sourdough. Creamy and fresh — the pickled red onion was especially delicious and gave a nice balance with the feta. 🍠 Smashed Sweet Potato $24.90 – Feta, fresh chilli & two poached eggs on Rustica sourdough. Sweet and savoury with a little chilli kick, really tasty. 🍳 House Omelette $25.50 – Roasted capsicum, Turkish sujuk sausage, bocconcini, wild rocket, basil & walnut dukkah served on sourdough toast. Fluffy, well-seasoned and full of flavour. ☕ Latte $5.50 🧊 Iced Long Black $5.50 – Refreshing, with a slightly sour taste. Located in a cute little alley, Brick Lane Café has a cozy ambience and friendly staff. ✨ We really loved the food — everything was tasty and satisfying.

Had a great breakfast experience here, had a short wait in line ( we got there early around 9am on a Sunday ) service was great, friendly and fast, the coffee was hot and strong and overall had a great lasting impression. The share tables are quirky but practical . Would happily come here again!

The coffee was cold and not great — the milk completely overpowered the coffee flavor. Breakfast was very average and not worth the price. The tables are placed too close to each other, which makes it uncomfortable, and the kitchen doesn’t have proper ventilation, so the smell of food sticks to your clothes. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Saw this café in a lot of reels on Instagram as a place worth visiting in Melbourne and I couldn’t agree more! It’s in a cosy spot down the street with literal brick exteriors and charming interior decor. The staff took our coffee orders the moment we came which was quite nice of them, because even though the café was pretty packed, their staff and service was very quick and prompt. 100% recommend their corn waffles, I’ve had nothing like this before and it tasted like a besan waffle bursting with flavour! 😋 Their mushroom loaded toast was also delicious and their poached eggs were so perfectly done. 100% worth the visit and would recommend coming here a little earlier to make sure that you get a good dining area!
