Located near Churchgate station: wide variety of delicious both vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes. Friendly service. Four of us ordered a variety of dishes such as mutton Seekh kebab, highway chicken tikka, ran biriyani, chicken changezi, etc. we enjoyed all these. Definitely worth checking out.

A luxe gem to try in SoBo. Situated right opp Churchgate Station- Nksha is an ode to Old Bombay Charm. The decor is vintage, art deco inspired and the cutlery is made from Kansa. The menu is Royal Indian featuring dishes like Nalli Nihari, Truffle mushroom naan, Highway chicken tikka and desserts like Kaju Katli foam. There are architecture inspired monsoon cocktails like “Hawa Mahal” and “ Churchgate” that I particularly enjoyed. Overall, it is a bucket-list worthy restaurant to try next time you are in SoBo. Service is also amazing and lives up to the acolades

Serves both vegetarian & non-vegetarian food. Has a bar too. Open kitchen which is bigger than the dining area. Friendly & attentive staff. Very clean and tidy. Delicious food. The paneer they serve is the best in Mumbai. Complimentary Kachodi, variety of chutneys and papads are very good. The pan goli that is served after food is something you don't find anywhere else. They sell it too. They have a full jain menu too. Their coin jalebi & rabdi is unique and delicious. A bit expensive but totally worth it. You will definitely want to visit again. Attracts a lot of visitors from the middle east.

After 9 days in this country this might have been my favorite meal of all exactly what I wanted. Homey food of incredible caliber and quality ingredients without the prissy fuss of haute cuisine. Very accommodating staff. The breads are top. The dal amazing. The chole— deep and expressive. My only regret is that I didn’t arrive starving and that I can’t take this restaurant home with me

Nksha, nestled in Mumbai's culinary landscape, offers a refreshingly sophisticated take on Indian dining, a welcome departure from the overtly traditional or overly trendy. From the moment you step in, the ambiance sets a serene yet elegant tone. The decor is tastefully understated, with soft lighting and comfortable seating that creates an intimate and relaxing environment, making it perfect for both a special occasion and a casual, upscale meal. The service is attentive without being intrusive, contributing significantly to the overall pleasant experience. My visit was truly defined by the Dum Biryani, a dish often attempted but rarely perfected. At Nksha, it was a revelation. The aroma alone, a fragrant symphony of spices and basmati, promised excellence. Each grain of rice was separate, perfectly cooked, and infused with the rich, aromatic flavors. The meat, whether succulent chicken or tender mutton, melted in the mouth, slow-cooked to perfection under a sealed lid. It wasn't greasy or overly spicy; instead, it was a harmonious balance, showcasing the chef's mastery of the slow-cooking technique. This biryani was a testament to authentic flavors, making Nksha a definite must-visit for anyone seeking a refined and genuinely satisfying Indian culinary experience in Mumbai.
