A perfect place for cake and seafood lovers. The choice of sweet dishes is amazing also the variety of sushis and salads with sea food. I always try to keep reviews objective so I need to say that you will find lots of wonderful fresh prepared dishes. As mentioned especially seafood, meat and typical creamy hot pots. If you prefer to eat more natural and raw then this place might be wrong. The salad buffet is not huge and most are including either dairy or seafood. The coffee is included and tasty. So it's perfect for the cake buffet. Price wise I must say it's very expensive. Two buffets and two small bottles of soda water 11149 Rupees what means appreciately 120 EUR. In my opinion too expensive compared with similar places. But anyways check it out yourself.

Very Good Place for You and your Family. Super variety of Veg as well as Non veg dishes in the menu. They do have all types of food be it Chinese, Indian, Continental, Italian , Chats etc etc and a very good variety of Sweet dishes. I enjoyed everything about them, one of the best Buffet in Mumbai really. Only thing is 4200 per pax is a little bit higher side they should curb it below 3000 .

Restaurant Review: Pondicherry Café - Sofitel, Mumbai I recently visited Pondicherry Café at Sofitel in Mumbai, and unfortunately, the experience fell far below expectations. Here’s a detailed breakdown of my visit: Parking Hassle As someone who arrived on a motorbike, the experience began with a significant disappointment. The hotel does not provide motorbike parking within its premises. Instead, I was directed to a pay-and-park lot 300 meters away, located on an open ground opposite Jio International School. This parking area was poorly maintained and inconvenient, especially for those with huge bikes like mine. I had to leave my bike without a handle locked, which was unsettling. Walking from the parking lot to the hotel in the scorching sun further diminished the experience. For a luxury hotel, this lack of accommodation for bikers is surprising and disheartening. Ambience and Atmosphere Once inside, the ambience of Pondicherry Café was pleasant but lacked any accompanying music, which made it feel somewhat lifeless. The décor was appealing, but the overall atmosphere could use some warmth and vibrance to match the expectations of a premium dining experience. Buffet Experience We opted for the buffet based on its promising menu, but the food did not deliver in terms of taste. While there was a variety of options available, very few stood out. Here’s a breakdown of the meal: • Soup: 2/5 – Bland and unremarkable. • Starters: 3/5 – Only two items were decent; the rest were forgettable. • Main Course: 2/5 – A disappointing selection with subpar flavors. • Desserts: 2/5 – Average at best. The pista kulfi had an odd paan flavor, which didn’t appeal to me. • Pizza & Pasta: Possibly the worst I’ve ever had. Overall, the food lacked flavor and quality, especially considering the premium pricing. Service The service was another letdown. Staff were hard to find when needed, whether it was for cutlery or water. This lack of attentiveness added to the frustration and further detracted from the overall dining experience. Final Thoughts For a restaurant within a luxury hotel, Pondicherry Café failed to meet expectations on multiple fronts. The motorbike parking issue, coupled with an underwhelming dining experience, made this visit quite disappointing. Considering the high ratings this restaurant holds on platforms like Zomato and Google, I feel it is overrated. Recommendation: • For Bikers: Avoid this place if you value convenience and proper parking facilities. • For Food Lovers: There are far better dining options in the BKC area offering superior taste, service, and overall experience at similar or lower price points. Went for Sunday brunch. The ambience and service is very good. The spread is great. This is one of the better buffets I have had anywhere else in Mumbai. The quality of food is also relatively good however there is no single dish which is extraordinary. This place also has a play area for kids.
