Excellent food and there aren’t many Fijian restaurants around so we wanted to give it a try. But, it leaves a sour taste in your mouth because of the hidden costs. I immediately noticed that nothing on the menu had prices on them, so asked for the prices of all the dishes we’d wanted before ordering. When paying, we then found even extra hidden costs, like an extra $5 for fried cassava instead of fried yucca, which I thought was ridiculous. Another thing is we were overcharged for the lemonade. Just assume they’re out here to scam you, ask questions, and be prepared to argue the bill. We visited this place after reading online reviews (google and maps) . Menu had no prices.. long story short I’d avoid it and head to the Korean bbq place at true mart Nadi centre. Much better priced.. This place is not what is portrayed to be. This maybe local Fijian food but prices are exorbitant for the quality and quantity. 25$ for lamb spinach which wasn’t even properly cooked and basically only had bones. It seemed to be boiled only. We left this completely untouched. The kokodo (fish) was likely either uncooked or a specie that I hadn’t had before and was very chewy. We did not eat this except drink the coconut gravy. 15$ (likely canned as per the owner ) The tuna mica - tuna coconut gravy was somewhat acceptable with spinach. 15$ Kokodo and the tuna weee basically uncooked dishes. With tuna and fish from a can and the coconut cream / gravy off the can as well. The only good part was the fried fish 35$ - exorbitantly expensive. For the size and with a serving of eggplant. This tasted well and the only thing we could finish. Ample amount of cassava . An a pitcher of lemon cordial 15$!!! 115$ for food that was not eaten. And then we headed to McDonalds!!! A great local Fijian option. This has replaced Sweet Laisa's kitchen and they've done a great job with making the seating area more light and open. The menu is a great intro to Fijian food. Make sure you try to get in on a Sunday which is when they have the widest range of seafood fresh from the market.

If you want to try authentic Fijian food, this restaurant is for you. It is frequented by locals. The problem is too many flies, and you end up chasing flies during the entire meal. The food are tasty and big. But the lamb rourou has mostly bones and little meat. The menu has no price. Compared with other restaurants, it does not have good value

If your searching for delicious Fijian food in Nadi, this is the place to visit. They have a good menu selection. I wanted a wholesome meal before my flight out of the country on my last day and it definitely was the best choice recommended. For those juice lovers, try out their freshly squeezed kumquat drink. It's so tasty and refreshing. I will definitely be back here on my next visit to Fiji. While on Queens Road checkout 'Namaka Mini Market' (local fresh produce)
