Vaka Restaurant has great poolside location, good service but averrage to poor food. The Kokonda was beautifully presented but was overly salty. The margarita pizza had oddly sweet tomatoes in an excessive pile of cheese. With a little attention to the menu and food prep this place could be a winner. The food was absolutely delicious! I wish they had tap beer, but the cold bottled beer was still great. I especially enjoyed the fish kokoda – it was a real highlight! We came 4 times during our stay, the food was very good ! Good prices, too. When we came the first time for lunch, we even used the pool. And a lovely music band was here on Saturday evening.

The food was absolutely delicious! I wish they had tap beer, but the cold bottled beer was still great. I especially enjoyed the fish kokoda – it was a real highlight!

We came 4 times during our stay, the food was very good ! Good prices, too. When we came the first time for lunch, we even used the pool. And a lovely music band was here on Saturday evening.

Vegetarian thali was good. Not sure why didn’t they add samosa as they give tamarind chutney in thali. Dhal soup was good.

We came on a Friday night while every where else had loud music, there was a beautiful band playing… so relaxing with a margarita We came back on Saturday had a cheap bucket of beers, fantastic lunch (food was really fresh) and used the pool. Service was great. Recommend the club sandwich
