We were going to have brunch at the rooftop but the first level had better food offerings and live music playing. The band was great. The bartenders were awesome. I asked for a mocktail and he made me a perfect one. My husband had the chicken wings which were one of the best he had. I had the breakfast sandwich with potatoes. It was substantial although a bit too salty. Very nice restaurant. This is a review of Honky Tonk. TLDR; too loud, rude hostess, decent food Ambiance (3/5): The live music is of course wonderful but it is SO SO loud. I could not even hear the person across from me and our table was one of the farthest away from the band. The lighting is dark. Service (2/5): We waited around 40 minutes past our reservation time. The hostess was rude to us when we checked in but seemed to have mistaken us for another party. Otherwise, our actual server was very polite and our food came out all at once. Brussel Sprouts (4/5) – these were nicely charred and delicious Crispy Baby Artichokes (4/5) – came with a creamy aioli dip that complimented the fried artichokes Lebanese Hummus (3/5) – thought this was skippable Truffle fries (5/5): The flavor tones were subtle, and the skinny fries provided a crunchy exterior. Guacamole & Pimento Cheese (3/5) – delicious guac and like the variety of the dipping vessels Spaghetti Bolognese (5/5) – this was delicious! The sauce was very flavorful and love the meatiness (portion) of the dish. Classic Steak Frites (3/5) – For an upcharge, I asked for the fries to be replaced with truffle fries (well done). However, the fries were not prepared as such—was exactly the same preparation as the shared table version. The cuts of steak were extremely chewy despite being cooked to a medium-rare (which it looked to be), perhaps just a lower quality cut of meat? We were seated really quickly. We chose to be seated on the rooftop. The views were great and it felt great when there was a breeze. Our server was friendly, though he did seem hot at times due to the sun. Our drinks and food came quickly and we enjoyed it. Their bathrooms are unisex with individual stalls with locked doors for privacy. The hostess greeted you on the way in and said bye on the way out. Proper hospitality, I would definitely be back if I ever visit the area again!

I made a reservation for the upper floor, but due to a mix up, we ended up at the first floor. The menu and the drinks were quite good, although a bit limited. The band was really good. The only problem was the nearby group who were shouting jokes at each other without even noticing the looks of other patrons, trying to enjoy their food and music. Once they left, everything became v good ;-))

This is my 5th time visiting Nashville, and 12/30 has always been my favorite place to come every trip. Last night, I brought my friend who was visiting Nashville for the first time because I wanted to show her my favorite spot. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from the start. When we checked in at the Supper Club on the second floor, we didn’t feel welcomed at all. The two hostesses at the front didn’t greet or smile at us at all. What really made us uncomfortable was seeing them roll their eyes at each other. I understand sometimes people don’t realize how their gestures come across, but it felt very disrespectful especially as we couldn’t help but wonder if it was because we are Asian. This kind of behavior is unacceptable, especially at a place that welcomes guests from all over the world. It truly turned me off from the start of the evening. While Melany, our server, was sweet and excellent. Because of that, I couldn’t really enjoy the food and music like I usually do. I also don’t think the food was as good as before everything tasted a bit too salty this time. Sadly, I don’t think I’ll be coming back again, but I hope this feedback helps improve things for future guests.
