We stopped in for lunch. The Bearded Clam did not disappoint! Excellent food! It was our first time having Conch fritters. They were great. My wife had the coconut shrimp, the best she's ever had. I had the shrimp tacos which were delicious. Drinks were above average and didn't skimp on alcohol. On a side note there was a visitor (yes this is an open air bar/restaurant) little fella came out to get a drink after it just rained. One of the workers dispatched it quickly. I laughed and thought it was funny, my wife on the other hand wasn't so enthused. All in all it made a memorable visit with some great food! The staff and service were great! Also be sure to ask about the side of bikini wax for $10. Husband and I stopped in Nassau on our cruise and were starving after snorkeling and walking all day. Ended up stopping here to eat and it was AMAZING. Best food I ate on the trip. Had rice n beans, plantains, coconut shrimp, and conch ceviche....all were phenomenal!! PLEASE GO HERE! Omg it's so fun and the people are amazing. Super quick place to get a beer or just some small bites. The staff rocks and I also stapled my name to the ceiling on a dollar bill..

Husband and I stopped in Nassau on our cruise and were starving after snorkeling and walking all day. Ended up stopping here to eat and it was AMAZING. Best food I ate on the trip. Had rice n beans, plantains, coconut shrimp, and conch ceviche....all were phenomenal!!

We walked around Nassau for a while searching for the right spot, and The Bearded Clam stood out instantly. The atmosphere pulls you in, super chill, fun, and full of character. The conch fritters were on point, the fish and chips were perfectly crispy, and the fried fish was packed with flavor and had just the right kick of spice. Don’t skip the local beer, it’s ice cold and hits the spot. Pro tip: Bring a sticker or a signed dollar to leave behind, it’s part of the tradition here and adds to the fun vibe. Definitely a must stop if you’re in Nassau!

We did not eat during our visit here. It is located in a side alley off of Bay St. Servers are very friendly, prompt, and always smiling. Great atmosphere with music always playing. Near the ports in Nassau so there is always a rotation of tourists and locals. Would definitely recommend this place when in Nassau. Update: was here again several days ago and had the jerk chicken breast, rice and peas, and fries. Food is delicious.
