Getting Around

Getting around Nessebar's Old Town is best done on foot, as the narrow, cobbled streets are not accessible to vehicles and exploring by walking allows you to truly appreciate the historic architecture. For reaching the Old Town from the mainland or nearby Sunny Beach, local buses are frequent and inexpensive. Taxis are also readily available. If you're staying on the mainland part of Nessebar, you can easily walk or cycle to the causeway leading to the Old Town peninsula. Consider a boat trip for a different perspective of the peninsula and its ancient walls.
