This is just a great little spot above the market lane near the train station. I stepped out of my normal curry lunch menu and got an "Israeli Lunch" which had some falafel, some hummus, veggies and I ordered a bowl of fruit. Had two beers, given with a chilled mug, and was very happy. No weird stomach rumblings after eating the fruits and veggies. If you need to catch and early train stay in this neighborhood, which has a great local feel and where you are not hassled and hustled as much as in other parts of Delhi. Have a nice walk about, especially down the alleyways where there are veggies for sale, then pop into this restaurant for some solid food and a cold beer if you like.

I opted for the spaghetti with Nepalese-style sauce and fried chicken – a delicious and satisfying change from the traditional Indian dishes I’d been eating daily. The beer here is served ice-cold, which is exactly what you need after braving the Delhi heat. Prices are fair and reasonable, especially considering the quality and portion sizes. Overall, Bistro 55 is a great spot for travelers looking for a peaceful atmosphere, diverse menu, and refreshing drinks right in the heart of the action.

Rooftop overlooking a busy corner street, creating a cool atmosphere! Veg thali is very tasty and very filling - highly recommend. Milkshakes are pretty thin. Didn’t get food poisoning.

Wouldn't eat indian food here again, The korma and paneer tilka masala left us unsatisfied, they said the paneer tikka was grilled and my partners curry was 50% ungrilled cheese that was very soft. I had lots of the same cheese in my korma.. this was pale as. The breads were good and service was ok
