I recently visited Indian Republic Canteen and had a fantastic experience. The ambience is vibrant and welcoming - a perfect blend of modern decor with desi charm. It’s a great place to enjoy food with friends or family while enjoying unique Indian fusion dishes. The food was the real star. I highly recommend trying thier Navratra Thaali, Daal cheela & Dosa Onion rings. Their pav bhaji was really below average. The staff was courteous and helpful, and having good services. Pricing is fair for the location and quality. Overall, a must-visit spot if you're in Connaught Place and want something beyond the usual fare. Will definitely be coming back to try more from the menu! Tried this place for breakfast. The ambience was nice and vibrant. The serving staff was also polite and nice. We ordered Chole bhature which were quite dry and hard. The chole were not the like which we usually have with bhature. The bedmi poor was nicely prepared, so i liked it of all. Indori poha and khasta kachori were ok. In the last ordered chaas, which had a right consistency and flavour. Overall the place is just satisfactory. Visited Indian Republic Canteen at CP on a Sunday evening around 6 pm and were seated immediately despite it being moderately busy. The décor is rustic yet modern with lively music and a comfortable, casual vibe. Staff were welcoming, menus arrived quickly, and service stayed attentive throughout. We tried both the Indian platter and the Chinese platter to sample the range. Indian platter had fresh breads and well-spiced curries, while the Chinese platter stood out for crisp veggies and balanced sauces. Portions were generous and presentation was appealing without being over the top. Prices felt reasonable for Connaught Place given the quality and quantity. Overall, a great spot for relaxed dining with good food and friendly service — would happily return.

I ordered a chai thali. The thali was a good size, enough for four people, but the pakodas were cold, and the Maggi was slightly warm. The thali cooled down very quickly.

The service at Indian Republic Canteen was a bit slow, and while the food wasn’t bad, it didn’t quite stand out either. We tried the Mysore Masala Dosa, Bombay Sandwich, Loaded Fries, Hot Chocolate, and two Cutting Chai. The tea was nicely presented, which was a pleasant touch, but overall, the food tasted fairly average — nothing particularly memorable. That said, the prices are quite pocket-friendly, making it a decent option for a casual outing. The atmosphere was good, with a lively and decent crowd. Overall, it's a budget-friendly spot with okay food and nice vibes, but there’s room for improvement in both service speed and food quality.
