We are Newquays Number 1 Specialist Surf School. Our coaching team are all professionally qualified surf coaches as well as qualified beach lifeguards. We only teach surfing, so you can sure your kids are in a safe and professional environment. These kids lessons are great for all abilities as the coach will tailor the lesson depending on the abilities of the group. Its a max of 6 kids per session, all aged 8-13 year olds. The sessions are each 2 hours long and we'll focus on having fun, catching lots of waves and giving your child expert surf coaching, whilst at the same time building their confidence, learning valuable ocean knowledge and making friends with other kids! In addition, we boast the best facilities. Heated changing rooms, hot showers, towels, hairdryers, and a bar / restaurants with the best view in town! (all surfers receive 25% off food!)

Typically customers will need 3 hours with us in total.  What we provide: We provide all the equipment that you need. (wetsuits, surfboards) We ask that you bring something to wear under your wetsuit and a towel. If it's sunny we recommend a bottle of water and suncream.

This course is perfect for beginners looking for an introduction to surfing, or just a quick surfing fix! This is a 2 hour surfing lesson, tailored to your ability For students on a first lesson your coach will introduce all of the skills and techniques necessary to surf with control and safety. Soon enough you will be riding the waves with style! If you have already surfed, you can then use this session to build on more advanced techniques, including paddling, turning and reading the ocean. We meet at Escape Surf School, in Newquay, which is located overlooking Towan beach on the premises of Belushis / St Christophers Inn.

Always wanted to try surfing, then our beginner group surf lessons are for you! Our ISA and Lifeguard qualified surf instructors will give you the basic knowledge and skills of surfing in a fun and informative way. We are the longest running surf school in Newquay based on South Fistral Beach and a Surfing England Centre of Excellence. A bucket list must for every visit to Newquay no matter what age, ability or experience. Get those essential surf skills down before hitting the waves by yourself. Suitable for complete novice surfers, those that have surfed only a couple of times before or those that need a refresher lesson. All of our lessons are 2 hours and include free equipment hire, wetsuit, surfboard (boots, gloves, hood in winter). Maximum instructor/student ratio 1:8. Minimum age for participants 7 years old, under 10's to be accompanied by an adult. All participants must be able to swim.

An intensive day of surfing aimed at people wanting to learn lots of techniques in a short period of time. This includes 2 x 2 hour surf lessons, which can be taken  over 1 or 2 days as required . The lessons will be tailored to your individual level of surfing guaranteeing you get the most out of the session. For beginners on a first lesson your coach will introduce all of the skills and techniques necessary to surf with control and safety. By the end of the second lesson you should be catching waves unaided and standing consistently If you have already surfed, you can then use these sessions to build on more advanced techniques, including paddling, turning and catching unbroken green waves. The lessons will be tailored to your current ability We meet at Escape Surf School, in Newquay, which is located overlooking Towan beach on the premises of Belushis / St Christophers Inn.

This private surf lesson is ideal if you are looking for an intensive learning process. The lessons are suitable for complete beginners as well as those who have already had lessons and are looking to improve. You will be met at the surf school by the coach, who will assess your surfing experience and tailor the lesson to your current ability. These lessons give lots of instruction and assistance over a short period of time, so ideal if you are looking to accelerate the learning process. • All equipment is included: wetsuits, surfboards and boots and gloves if its in the colder months • Use of the Escape Surf School facilties including hot showers and changing rooms

Our Family / Small Group Surf Lesson costs £210 and includes: • A private 2 hour surf lesson for you and your family or friends with one of our professional surf coaches (up to 4 participants) • All equipment is included: wetsuits, surfboards and boots and gloves if its in the colder months • Use of the Escape Surf School facilities including hot showers and changing rooms

This Private Two on One Surf lesson is ideal if you are looking for an intensive learning process for you and a friend or relative. The lessons are suitable for complete beginners as well as those who have already had lessons and are looking to improve. Ideally you would both be at a similar level for the coaching to be wholly effective. NOTE - when booking this, please only select 1 participant for the pricing to be accurate. The price is £160 for 2 people, not £160 per person! You will be met at the surf school by the coach, who will assess both your surfing experience and tailor the lesson to your current abilities. These lessons give lots of instruction and assistance over a short period of time, so ideal if you are looking to accelerate the learning process. • All equipment is included: wetsuits, surfboards and boots and gloves if its in the colder months • Use of the Escape Surf School facilities including hot showers and changing rooms • The lesson is 2 hours long

Our family friendly surf lessons are private just for you and your family.  These lessons are two hours long, fun, safe and educational, and include all the equipment.  Its a great treat for the whole family come rain or shine! You cant come to Cornwall and not get the sea!  All of our surf coaches hold Beach Lifeguard qualifications and ISA Surf Coaching awards as standard.
