We absolutely love this place; it's one of our favorites. The service is attentive without being overbearing, the food is always excellent, and the ambiance is cozy and romantic. And one of the most important details is that many places in town do not have is an excellent selection of music that allows you to have a conversation without needing to yell. We come here at least twice a month if not more. It's also a great place for gathering with friends for a nice mellow night of dinner and drinks! Adama has chill vibes, is tucked any in a little corner off the street, and serves some intensely good food! The atmosphere is instantly relaxing, and the wait staff (and owner, who welcomed us) were friendly and attentive. Highly recommend the pickles and pickled olives - they import them from Israel! Oh, and get there early if you can! We missed the salads as they were all out when we arrived less than on hour before closing. Will definitely be going back. Everything — the food, the service, the ambiance — was top notch. Our server, Pablo, was amazing and suggested we try the lamb hummus. It was absolutely out of this world — tender, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We finished with the tahini ice cream, which was creamy, unique, and the perfect way to end the meal. Highly recommend this place. Can’t wait to come back!

As a California native who has access to hundreds of Middle Eastern restaurants, this was some of the best Middle Eastern food I’ve had - especially here in Oaxaca of all places. Seating is limited, but we were able to walk-in and get seated right away. The restaurant is tucked away off one of the most charming streets I’ve ever seen in Oaxaca, and has a beautiful entryway covered by lush vegetation, leading to an intimate courtyard surrounded by brick floors and terracota walls. We ordered the Hummus with Shawarma, Falafel, Salad, and Cauliflower; was a perfect amount for 2 people and would recommend everything we tried.

Highly recommend getting a meal at Adama during your visit to Oaxaca. Delicious & authentic middle eastern food, great service and lovely ambiance. One of the best falafels I have had - it was crisp and moist. We also had hummus, another dish and ice cream. Overall a great dinner experience and wonderful night!
