We thoroughly enjoyed our recent dining experience. The server provided excellent recommendations and contributed significantly to the pleasant atmosphere. We were particularly impressed with their attentiveness throughout the evening. Our favorite dish, without a doubt, was the octopus. Make sure you make reservations well in advance. Just acceptable but not good. Unfortunately definitely not at Michelin star level. Portion sizing needs work, with many dishes being far too big. Mains were the weakest course, with our Mackerel lacking flavour and tasting too heavily of greasy butter. Mushroom lasagne was too big and lacking in flavour. Excellent choice recommended by Claude. I had aguachile, which was just so flavoursome and caldo, also incredibly tasty. Plus sitting on the dais I had a view over the place, perfect for a solo eater. Diana was a very kind and attentive waitress too. My first time eating grasshoppers and I think it will do it again!

The service and atmosphere were excellent, but the food was deeply disappointing. We came for the special Día de los Muertos tasting menu, and unfortunately not a single dish impressed us. The mole was overly sweet, the kale salad was dry and underdressed (it looked like it came straight out of the bag), the soup was bland, the octopus was soggy, and the meat was completely flavorless. I’ve had far better and more flavorful meals from street vendors — a real letdown for a Michelin-starred restaurant, especially given the price of around $160 per person.

Our experience was disappointing for a Michelin star restaurant. The service wasn't on par with other restaurants, and the food lacked balance or taste. The butter was too sweet and the bread looked like airplane bread; the pork was cooked perfectly, but the sauce was very strong in taste and the purée way too sweet; the octopus was nothing special, especially when it comes to what came with it (cherry tomatoes and sautéed potatoes). The beef tongue tacos and hoja santa were great.
