We came here to celebrate on our vacation for our honeymoon. Matt was a great server very attentive and friendly. He took note that we were celebrating something special and got congratulations on the plate and a candle. I got the “Between My Red Velvet Sheets Cheesecake” and my Husband got “Blueberry Birthday Suit”. His was very unique and I’d say the best non chocolate non caramel thing they got. He unfortunately doesn’t like those two things but I still think was the best thing on the menu.

This was our second visit to Better Than Sex – A Dessert Restaurant, and once again, we were completely blown away by the sweet treats and the experience. I made same-day reservations for a 9:45 p.m. seating, and we were seated right away in a cozy little booth. The menus are displayed on small tabletop tablets, which makes browsing easy and fun. The restrooms are single-use for the ladies but spotless, and there’s even a cute little bench nearby that’s perfect for a sassy photo op. The restaurant itself is intimate and romantic, with dim lighting, faux candles everywhere, and gorgeous chandeliers that set the mood. It’s not a large space, so reservations are highly recommended, though they do their best to accommodate walk-ins. There’s also some outdoor seating for those who prefer an open-air experience. For drinks, we enjoyed a red blend rimmed with caramel and a pinot rimmed with white and milk chocolate, what a combination! Both were delicious and indulgent. For dessert, I had the Caress My Carrot, which was incredible. Every bite bursting with flavor, with the cranberries and pineapple shining through and just the right crunch from the walnuts. My husband had the Caramel Cuddle Cake, where the biscoff cookie butter flavor takes center stage. The layers of cake, cream, and caramel were rich and decadent, and the coffee milk pairing, whether sipped or poured, was spectacular. Our server, Danielle, was an absolute delight. She was sweet, engaging, and added a playful touch to the atmosphere, truly living up to the name of the restaurant. During our visit, they also had a fun interactive feature called “Spark and Sip,” a set of couples’ questions that added a lighthearted and flirty element to the evening. On our way out, we were offered a sample of something new that may be coming to the menu soon; a wine pairing called “The Shocker.” I believe the hostess was Emily, and while I can’t recall the exact wine, it was rimmed with white chocolate and absolutely delightful. I really hope they add it to the menu; it would pair beautifully with any of their desserts. This place has truly earned its reputation, not just among locals, but as a must-visit spot for anyone visiting Orlando. The desserts, the drinks, and the atmosphere all come together perfectly. Highly recommend!

We had a phenomenal time on Halloween night! We were celebrating my sister’s birthday and bachelorette and KC made sure that she felt special throughout. KC was an amazing server throughout our whole experience—super knowledgeable about the menu and gave great recommendations for drinks and dessert. Making reservations was super easy online and staff are responsive when calling on the phone to make changes as well. They are not kidding when they say you cannot go over a party of 4 easily, dining room is a little tight but calling to ask about a party of 5 was super easy and staff were super helpful. The food and drinks were amazing—it took a little while for food to come out but totally worth it. Big big shout-out as well to the many NA/Virgin drink options, not something you see everywhere and I super appreciated it. Overall I would 1000% recommend Better Than Sex if you’re looking for an intimate dessert option for a celebration/anniversary with a small party of people.

This place was phenomenal and nothing like I’ve ever seen before. It’s perfect for a date night. We tried the blueberry french toast and carrot cake. The French toast was perfectly crunchy on the outside and gooey on the inside with a subtle cinnamon flavor. It came with a strawberry dipping sauce which paired really well with the French toast. We also tried the Hunny Bunny cocktail which is a sparkling wine with lavender syrup and the espresso martini. Overall, it was a beautiful experience and would definitely recommend if you are looking for a dessert place for date night.

Our server, Casey, was amazing. She had the best suggestions and provided great friendly service. The desserts and drinks were delicious and the atmosphere was sexy/romantic. Get the Caramel Cuddle Cake it is absolutely delicious. This will be our go to dessert spot every time we visit.
