In addition to being fully Halal, the restaurant provides a dedicated area for Wudu and prayer, which is a very thoughtful feature. The staff were very welcoming and friendly upon arrival. The restaurant offers a great variety of seating options, including standard tables, a Japanese-style low table with a leg well (horigotatsu), and traditional Japanese floor seating. While the restaurant serves a range of Japanese dishes, it specializes mainly in fried items. This makes it a perfect destination for fans of fried food. However, it might not be the best option if you prefer dishes that are not fried. Overall, it's a very convenient and comfortable dining experience for Muslim travelers.

I just ate here and really enjoyed it! The food was delicious and the service was great. The waiting time was reasonable too. There’s also a prayer room available, which is very convenient. Most importantly, all the food here is halal. I definitely recommend this place

I had a great experience at Shinjuku Tei Umeda. Their gyukatsu was delicious — the wagyu beef was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The staff were also very friendly and provided excellent service. I really recommend this place if you’re looking for a halal Japanese restaurant around Osaka. Definitely worth a visit!

An unforgettable halal wagyu experience! We visited HALAL WAGYU GYUKATSU SHINJUKU-TEI Osaka Umeda, and it was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. I ordered the Shinjuku-Tei Gyukatsu Set (regular), and my son had the large portion — both were perfection. The wagyu was the most tender, flavorful beef I’ve ever tasted, and I honestly don’t think I’ll be able to go back to what’s available in Australia after this! The fact that it’s halal made the experience even better, knowing we could enjoy top-quality wagyu without any compromise. The service was amazing — our waiter was attentive, friendly, and made us feel truly looked after. The ambiance was warm and welcoming, completing what was an exceptional dining experience. If you’re in Osaka, this place is a must-visit for anyone wanting to experience premium halal wagyu.

Food was amazing. Had the wagyu gyukatsu regular set. Set came with 2 pieces of wagyu beef sushi, 4 thick pieces of wagyu beef cutlet, salad, rice and miso soup. Beef cutlet gyukatsu can be cook further with the individual hot pan. Nice traditional seating is available too. Good place to wind down even in the middle of busy osaka city. Short walk from osaka station makes it very convenient. Nice waiter from indonesia, very welcoming and attentive. Will definitely visit again in the future One of the best halal option around this area
